With a bit of liquid courage, Vicki quite easily allows herself to be peer-pressured into taking this challenge. "Ah right, ah right!" - calls the Halfling as she steps amidst the rowdy folk and breaks into a dance, taking advantage of her short stature to tap her feet in a rapid yet rhythmic manner.
The Town's thunderous Tavern Wench insists on the Traditional Medieval Dance of which ridiculous Vicki accepted. Vicki attempts a dance or what looks like an exercise in awkwardness that leaves everyone flabbergasted. Vicki has not the Dancing Skill but unwisely thinks to be better than the Tavern's Challenge much to detriment of Vicki. What an embarrassing situation! That brings out some giddy laughs. You also get hurt in the process either from your own actions or the hard rock that is thrown at your head from across the room of the Tavern!
Vicki may have pulled a muscle in her thigh, and her performance may not have been the best received, but she sure did enjoy herself. She goes back to drinking, confident that the memory of her poor effort will eventually make space for that of her more heroic endeavours in the future.
The Town's thunderous Tavern Wench puts up a dare for the Magic Tricks of which the noble Merlin accepted. Using all that Merlin has been taught a magic trick is shown much to the astonishment of the crowd of onlookers. Merlin executes the Magician Skill without failure and feels joyous about the outcome. 9 gold pieces is given to you for Magician success. Many clap and raise their mugs in your honor. Merlin received 45 experience points.
Happy that it's a skill he knows really well he accepts before someone else does.
