The Town's rowdy Tavern Wench calls for a Hand wrestling competition of which courageous Merlin accepted. In what could be considered a magnificent feat, Merlin pulls Wilbur's arm down to the table in victory. Merlin uses the Hand Wrestling Skill successfully and amazes those around them. Some were betting, so a total of 7 gold pieces was collected for Hand Wrestling. A loud roar of joy errupts as they say "Merlin is a champion of Hand Wrestling, who can do greater?" Merlin received 43 experience points.

After spending a long time in the forests fighting Merlin is exhausted from losing and winning. He did gain some gold but not so much that he cannot test his skills and earn more.

I have been fighting these useless spiders and rats even when I don't have much combat experience. I think my skills will be better used at facing this challange. I think my reflexes are good enough.

The Town's loud Tavern Wench insists on the Reflexes competition of which ridiculous Allistair accepted. A mug or two don't make it into the hands of Allistair but instead hit the table and floor! Allistair has not the Reflexes Skill but unwisely thinks to be better than the Tavern's Challenge much to detriment of Allistair. What an embarrassing situation! That brings on some giddy laughs.
