We live in a time where material possessions matter. Marketing has done a good job of telling you that you can't be happy unless you have the big screen HDTV or the newest model of car. People think that by having these things it makes them happier - its all the opposite.

Another aspect of this is they don't pay their debts on time and let it mount up. This adds up to a bad credit rating and double the amount you owed.
