Are you affected by the Burning of Rubbish In Trinidad? Does your neighbor or area regular burn leaves / rubbish and your home becomes engulfed in smoke? What are your thoughts?

Trinidad Rubbish Burning

Horrible! I can't stand it. This should be against the law. Yes, I am affected very often by this practice. You are forced to breathe these horrendous fumes just because someone feels to burn trash.

Oh yes! Where I live the neighbours are so lazy! Instead of placing their "Bush" in a tuffy bag or in front of their house where the truck can collect it, they prefer to burn! I have politely asked a few neighbours not to do this and the response I usually receive is, an impolite stare. Shortly after my request, they choose to burn bush whenever my "Clean clothes" are on the clothes line! Very ignorant, if you ask me! What is even more interesting is, there is a truck that collects bush twice a week, so there is really no need to burn at all!

There is a law in Trinidad and Tobago which states that "Burning bush" is forbidden especially in dry season. However, I have never heard anyone being charged or arrested for burning, so obviously, this law is not enforced. Great pity!

Trinidad Rubbish Burning

Like people don't know in 2016 they still have garbage trucks passing and one some days of the week they have trucks that will take up your leaves and old furniture. Like them people that burning need some firefighter work.
