Does The Military Endorse Candidates?

Congressional candidates break ethics policy

Members of Congress who served in the military routinely violate a policy that regulates how they can use their experience in uniform when campaigning. Often they fail to run a required disclaimer that says they are not endorsed by the armed forces. Ref. Source 3z.

Candidates Endorse Military Does

Politicians should not be allowed to flaunt their past in uniform if its against the rules. The armed forces should have a body that looks out for and enforces this rule.

Does The Military Endorse Candidates? History & Civil Business Politics

The military does not endorse any political candidates. That being said a persons past is brought up and they are known to be veterans so their military history comes into play. The candidates will not say the military supports them because they know that it will not. They have the right to make comments about their military background as it is a part of who they are. It is not against any rules to let people know you served in the military.
