The Town Tavern
This Thread is about The Town Tavern, a place located in the Town within the Medieval Fantasy world of Ruler of Kings II. Discussion here is Out of Character where Players can feel free to converse about any happening or dealings they had at The Town Tavern.
Note: Keep in mind that one Player's encounter at The Town Tavern may be different from another Player's experience because of choices and in game dynamics.
The tavern is where a lot of action is going down. I like the fact that its probably the one place where you can do everything: buy, learn, quest and more. You have to come here first to get a feast which is a meal and a room until you get your own house. I would not take on the quest or anything else until you build up your character first. Probably the Palace of Parody should be used to exhaustion before checking this tavern for more to do.
We should all remember whenever someone arrives in a new town, the first place to be: the Tavern!
There you can book one modest room, refresh yourself with some ale, chat with the patrons and learn some of the newest gossips from the bartender or the wenches…
The constant additions to the tavern like the challenges really makes it feel more of a tavern than just a place to eat and get a room.
Ha! The bribery of the wench pays off in this place. Nice that this game has that same element from tabletop games- bribing someone to tell you where something is located. Usually its the barkeep but a wench will do too.
