Trump makes history again, and not in a good way. Ahead of tonight's debate, a look at what's at stake
With the release of a 2005 video in which he boasts about his sexually predatory behavior toward women, Donald Trump created the most catastrophic October surprise in modern American politics. Now the question is less whether he will be elected but if a likely defeat by Hillary Clinton ensures a Democratic takeover of the U.S. Senate and risks GOP loss of control of the House. Ref. Every presidential debate since the League of Women Voters stopped hosting them impartially has been rigged. Every election since they installed electronic voting machines has been rigged. If anyone disagrees, please tell me how we can verify the accuracy of voting if there are zero paper ballots.
That spin of calling up those four women, Paula Jones, Juanita Broaddrick, Kathleen Willey and Kathy Shelton, who are anti-Clinton could backfire on him in tonight's townhall meeting but that is what Trump does.

That spin where Bill Clinton actually sexually assaulted people? I expect that is a very minor portion of what's really wrong here. Lets all focus on what people say and not on what really happened over and over again. It's way easier to be willfully ignorant and do what we're told. Democrats will always vote for a Democrat, Republicans will always vote for a "Republican." There will be no variance, because people cannot change their habits. Instead, we simply pretend we are ignorant of the heinous activities so that we don't have to assume responsibility for letting them stay in office.
Donald Trump exceeded expectations, but Hillary Clinton won the second presidential debate, according to a CNN/ORC poll of debate watchers.
The results showed a clear victory for Clinton, with 57% saying she won, as opposed to 34% for Trump.
It's a strong showing for Clinton, but not as good as her performance at the first presidential debate, when 62% of debate watchers said she won.
The results Sunday also track closely with watchers' pre-debate preference. Fifty-eight percent of debate watchers said they were supporting Clinton before the debate. Ref. CNN.
Analysis: Sunday night was the most bizarre presidential debate of the television age
When they were introduced at Washington University in St. Louis, Democrat Hillary Clinton and Republican Donald Trump walked to the center of the stage but didn't shake hands. The mood was icy and fierce. She called him a misogynist, and he called her a liar. The combative spectacle was launched even before the second debate, when Trump convened a photo-op featuring four women who have accused former president Bill Clinton of sexual misconduct in cases dating as far back as his days as Arkansas governor. The brazen move was in response to Friday's release of a recording from 2005 in which Trump is heard graphically discussing groping women, resulting in an expanding list of Republicans calling for him to exit the presidential race. Clinton said during Sunday night's debate that the video shows Trump is "Not fit to be president and commander in chief." Ref. USAToday.
