Megera Introduction

I am here from curiosity and a love of role-playing games.I started playing Dungeons & Dragons in 1977 or thereabouts and got elected to be the Dungeon Master because I was the one willing to put in the work it takes to run a game. I am 57 and female. I use the computer to create art. I enjoy cooking.

I prefer a little horror in my games, I usually run fantasy games whether its historic settings or modern or futuristic.

I like animals and prefer not to have to kill them in the game if I do not have to. I am apparently a feminist and have quit several games over the way I and/or my characters were treated. It's not as bad as it was back in the day, .

I have played several MMO games - I do not enjoy PVP (Player VS Player) style games, I do not enjoy competitive games, I prefer cooperation, always. Until role-playing games came along, I really did not care for playing games - most are all about competition and beating each other.

I currently run a role-playing channel on the IRC and a 5e and Homebrew Dungeons & Dragons game [..].
