Softaculous is a third party program that installs popular software for you with the click of a button. I never like these things on a server so here is the latest way to uninstall it:
CODE /usr/local/cpanel/bin/unregister_cpanelplugin /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot/cgi/softaculous/softaculous.cpanelplugin;
Rm -rf /etc/cron.d/softaculous;
Rm -rf /etc/cron.d/softaculous2;
Rm -rf /var/softaculous;
Rm -rf /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/cgi/softaculous;
Rm -rf /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/cgi/addon_softaculous.php;
Rm -rf /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/cgi/addon_softaculous.cgi
Rm -rf /usr/local/cpanel/base/frontend/x3/dynamicui/dynamicui_softicons.conf;
Rm -rf /usr/local/cpanel/base/frontend/x3/dynamicui/dynamicui_softaculous.conf;
Rm -rf /usr/local/cpanel/base/frontend/x3/dynamicui/dynamicui_soft_div_icons.conf;
Rm -rf /usr/local/cpanel/base/frontend/x3/dynamicui/dynamicui_soft_div.conf;
Rm -rf /usr/local/cpanel/base/frontend/paper_lantern/dynamicui/dynamicui_softicons.conf;
Rm -rf /usr/local/cpanel/base/frontend/paper_lantern/dynamicui/dynamicui_softaculous.conf;
Rm -rf /usr/local/cpanel/base/frontend/paper_lantern/dynamicui/dynamicui_soft_div_icons.conf;
Rm -rf /usr/local/cpanel/base/frontend/paper_lantern/dynamicui/dynamicui_soft_div.conf;
Run via root SSH.

These Cpanel programs (Used to be called "Fantastico") are nice for a novice user but if you can install on your own it is always better to download from the programs original site to ensure you get the latest and be able to customize the install the way you want it.
