A must read: What makes our Community unique?

Your Administrators are coders, designers and Autism Parents! We have been around for 16+ years! Unlike other places we can actually code something right there on the spot - just like that!

We eliminate the spam, trolls and nonsense to provide a place that allows constructive Discussions and 'talk'. We want everyone to enjoy themselves, it does not make sense to be using something and consistently complaining about it (Trolling). Hence, we do listen to constructive criticism and improve codes, layouts and so forth to those genuinely interested in seeing the Community grow.

It is also important to understand what International Discussions is all about. Many join the Community with misguided beliefs that it is X or Y and become frustrated when certain things don't work for them like another social network or what they envisioned. This is a writing Community, it runs on a compilation of custom codes that make up a Forum of many Boards. There are people from all over the world with different backgrounds, religions, cultures and perspectives. Whereas you may be accustomed with people from a certain locality, thinking or area in this Community you get input from everywhere all at once!

We have laid the foundation to help everyone get along, understand each other, and agree / disagree without wars being launched. The policies help you to expand and expound in a safe environment - it is not a restriction and should not be seen that way. International Discussions is a collaborative writing effort which means your input into any Topic, RPG or review adds to the growth and knowledge of everyone else that reads it.

Hello Reader,

Many years ago, some of you may not have even been born yet, there was a tragic event that affected the world. Many refer to this tragedy as "9/11" or "September 11th", however no matter what it is called it was the day when terrorists crashed commercial airliners into the Twin Towers in New York, USA. Since that time the world has never been the same. Please tell us how this has affected you: Touched by September 11th.

Heads Up Server Update

At some point the server we are on will be conducting a major update to the OS. Therefore, you may suddenly experience some downtime. When this will exactly happen I am not sure. I have asked the server crew to keep me posted when they get close but since it is done in batches I do not know when our Host will be carded. This is just a fore-warning in case you suddenly cannot access us. The downtime should be around 10-20 minutes.Those of you who tend to write out lengthy thoughtful Posts may want to keep an additional backup in Notepad until I can confirm the server update is complete. Thanks for your understanding.

Regarding my last Post, I've been informed that the server is currently being updated. At some point there will be downtime here. This is to let you know why, when it has been completed I will Post here again. Please do not forget to save any new Posts you intend to make now.

Server Update Completed

For the most part it went well but I was getting problems bring up the Search, however that is working now.
