Ruler of Kings & International Discussions Community Integration
This video explains the relationship between Ruler of Kings II and the International Discussions Community.

In this video, I will be talking about the relationship between the International Discussions community with RulerOfKings.com. When you sign up for Ruler of Kings you are also joining an International Community of gamers, writers, readers and intellectual types. Man oh man… they cover everything there from computers, paranormal activity, politics, science, sports, movies and of course role-playing games.
The community as a whole with its discussions and topics are kept at a high level through consistent moderation to avoid the whimsical nonsense you sometimes see on some popular social networks. This is why some aspects of using the community may require approval. Moderators help to ensure it is a clean pleasant online experience. Hence, when you join you are asked to post a short introduction before you can play.
This introduction does many things… for instance, it stops all the spammers looking to talk about their pyramid schemes, trollers with their trolling and the haters looking to put everyone down. It also helps the moderators know why you joined the community so they can help you get straight to the section you are interested in. Welcomes from other members and support all happens in your intro as well. Once your introduction is approved you can go straight into making your character in Ruler of Kings. Most times online users will join international discussions looking for one topic of interest and end up getting involved in other topics because of the attention it draws. So don't be surprised if you join to play Ruler of Kings and end up also playing their other play by post games, discussing current political issues or just reviewing the latest movies. Its good to have this explanation because anyone coming via the ROK site to international Discussions might not understand the transition specially since its a long process of introduction and approval before they actually play.

I hope they pickup on this because some people think ROK II is a forum game or regular Play By Post rather than a text role-playing game of its own. I think the login to the community might confuse some people but only because they do not read.

Very explanatory! During my first day I got really confused and didn't know if I was in the right place, as I registered for Ruler of Kings II and the very first page made me quite unsure about it. During my second day I just logged in to read and familiarize with the buttons on the page I was and where they led me to. As I was not used to the site, my intuition just guided me through a safe zone before creating characters or performing any action.
