New species of Jurassic reptile

A new species of British ichthyosaur has been identified using skeletal remains which have been on display at the University of Bristol's School of Earth Sciences for many years. Ref. Source 9n.

These were large marine reptiles that looked like a cross between swordfish and dolphin breeds. The amount of discoveries we are making coming from the dinosaur age means they could have had diversity to the same extent of our modern day animal kingdom.
