Cops Taser Then Shoot Man to Death After Family Calls 911 for Help for His Depression:
A California sheriff's deputy needlessly Tasered and then shot a man to death after his father called 911 seeking help for his son's depression, the family claims in court. Ref. Source 6
I read this article in complete disbelief. I checked other sources and I find it suspicious that the case is being put forward a year after the incident. What confuses me is why the father would use police to deal with depression, if his son wasn't mid-suicide. The phone call recording should clear up most of the confusion in this case.

I agree with iCon. The story they told here is something that could lead to a popular revolt if true. But, is it true? Why police officers would behave like sadistic maniacs without any reason? A single officer would still be believable, but they talk about several policemen here and none of them moved a finger to help a dying man. Can it be that a whole police department is made of cruel psychotic people?
What generates some legitimate suspicions is also the reason why this family brought up the issue after more than one year: they asked over 60 million dollars in compensation for their loss! Are they moved by sorrow and desperation or by mundane greed?
