When someone is fired for stating their opinion by a network is it because:
1. The network does not want to offend those who the opinion is about
2. The network feels it is the responsibility of their 'staff' to be always politically correct
3. The network's executives are taking the opinion personally
4. The network is afraid of losing money
I wonder mostly about #4, if the network was to actually make MORE money after the stated opinion would they still fire the staff member that said it?
