Rules: Anyone can participate in this science fiction role-play. You need to read the main theme or Scenario (First Post) and then continue the story with the lead Characters in logical fashion based on the opening Post. New Characters can be added but the story should flow.

Scenario: You're living on an old International Space Station orbiting earth and created by a number of countries circa 2100.
Start: Your job is to maintain the outer core of an old Space Station that is used for research. You do this by making checks on the dull for cracks and / or malfunctioning equipment. This means you often have to put on a space suit and risk your life outside the space station. There are 50 people from various countries living on board. Each person has a specific assignment. The main language is English but many speak with heavy hard to understand accents. Recently, there has been bickering about the lack of supplies and that there are more people than needed on the Station.

"Again seriously?, We just fixed that crack yesterday. Something is definitely wrong up here. I hope a supply ship comes up soon." Starts to once again get suited up for another walk. Checking over the suit itself takes some time to make sure it is air tight. These walks are beginning to be bothersome. He thinks to himself.

But someone has got to do it and since these sad saps won't I will continue to do my job. In a way its good, because it guarantees my spot on the station. The thought makes him want to shove someone else out there. But like always he would never do that. He finishes up his preparation and begins the process of decompressing the hatch by closing the inner hatch. As he stands there waiting for the precious oxygen and air to be vacuumed out and the outside pressure to equalize, he thinks of his family. He likes using this time to think of his siblings and his parents and what they may be doing while he is up here. Do they feel proud of him? Or have they written him off and not think of him at all. Sometimes he can see them as they all wished him well when he left home all those long months ago.
"Well ain't this just lovely." He takes off his transmitter and checks it out. "Well it looks like it is working." Disconnecting his emergency tie he starts making his way to the far side of the station. There is a little used hatch there that once can open from the outside. Only problem is it is going to be a tight fit to get inside and the outer latch closed.
Making his way to the hatch he hears something, "Sorry man, there was some in fighting here and we did not monitor you. The hatch is open come back in." You start to curse about their lack of safety and make your way back to the main hatch. Upon entering something seems strange…
