What is a societal norm, something considered to be normal or accepted by the general population that is very strange if really examined?

That's easy… bullying. It happens everyday but most people shrug it off as a part of life. They only protest when it starts to get physical or damage some aspect of your financial life but before those most people think you should just shut up and take whatever you get.
