For me, giving clothes, ornaments, and personal items like colognes and kits are the WORST gifts you can give if its not your spouse because they are so personal that only the person should choose it for themselves. I rather creative stuff, things that I might have said I wanted but never gotten around to it or tickets to a show, a dinner or cash!
