Firm with Saudi ties works on Air Force One

A company owned by a Saudi investor works on Air Force One and other VIP aircraft that fly Cabinet secretaries and other dignitaries around the world, USA TODAY has learned. GDC Technics, bought by a firm from Saudi Arabia in 2013, has been servicing President Obama's jet as a contractor for Boeing, according to the Air Force. Boeing said they were under contract for $170 million so they do not know where he got that figure from but this might have to do with the number of jobs Boeing has overseas.

We need a new Air Force One and [Trump] cancelling the order will not help. The current 747 is a old slow beast and it needs to be replaced with a more modern plane. The security measures that are on a presidential plane is highly secret and it will cause the cost of the plane to go up. But they are needed just like a new plane is needed.
