Lia draws her bow string back as she watches the others sneak closer to the kobolds. She will shoot at the kobolds on the far left when she sees the other members of the group get in position. Focusing on the kobold she is targeting, the rest of the world fades into the background.

Geoffroy, Tolman, and Nyzahr do not find Cratol in the current cavern, but they do find evidence of where he might have gone. A rope has been securely tied to some rocks, and leads down a vertical shaft. You think you can see water down there.

Cratol backtracks to the fork in the tunnel and takes the unexplored passage, passing the remnants of a spider statue along the way. He doesn't go far before he hears something ahead, a deep rhythmic noise. It sounds like something large is snoring up ahead.

Cratol proceeds cautiously he does not want to disturb what ever is sleeping if he can help it. He wants to see what it is however.

The tunnel ends in a relatively small cave, and on the floor is a very large creature. It is best described as a squat lizard with a stubby tail and eight muscular legs. It is mostly brown in color, with a yellow underbelly.

It appears to be sound asleep, curled up in a bed of dust and stone fragments.

Cratol backs out of the room and heads back towards his rope. He wonders if this is the creature that caused all the stone statues that are around the area. He will have to tell the others of what he found.
