Round Six

Cahleth, shaking off the paralysis, looses two arrows, striking both the rampaging beast and one of the drakes. The latter keels over, unmoving.

Fay and Lia join each other in facing the rhinoceros, striking with spell and sword respectively. It tosses its head at the dissonant word, but does not flee.

The beast slams its horn into Targul's side once more, and the half orc is sent flying to the ground, but the stubborn fighter refuses to go down. He gets back up, and attacks the rhino once more. A very angry and dirty dwarf is sent sprawling as his animal form dissipates.

Poljen strikes out, but his blade is turned by his opponent's armor. Onwen's mage hand snatches at the dwarf again, continuing to harm him.

The Father manages to bind one of his attackers with magic, but goes down on a knee, he seems to be having trouble.

Out of Character: Targul takes 12 damage, which I believe would drop him to 0, but I am assuming he would choose to use his Relentless Endurance racial feature rather than be knocked out, between that and his use of second wind, Targul is now up at 11 HP. Poljen is healed for 11, and then took 7. Remaining combatants: the dwarf, 2 drakes, one unharmed cavalryman by Poljen, two unharmed cavalrymen by the Rector one of whom was just hit by a hold person.

Fay sees the Dwarf prone on the ground and attacks immediately while he has the advantage. At the end he twirls his sword in a great flourish.

Out of Character: Fay uses his last insiration to upgrade his armor as his bonus action. Also, I believe he has advantage on attack against the prone Dwarf.

The elf is torn at what to do as the battle unfolds. Seeing Targul stagger and almost fall she touches her amulet and calls upon Sune to heal the half orc. As the healing warmth departs from her she feels strangely empty. She knows that her abilities are used up for today.

Fury crosses Lia's face as the Father falls to his knees. She moves towards them and calls out" Craven that attacks an old man. Come meet your death. " She raises her sword and strikes at the human that isn't affected by the hold person spell.

Specific Action: Bonus action of casting healing word (Level 2) on Targul. Once again it is a +7 bonus applied for hit points restored. Move to the humans attacking the father and attack the one still moving.

Out of Character: : She is all out of spells now.

Poljen growls in frustration but continues to press the attack. As long as he I on his feet, enemy fighters will focus on him, giving his allies more room and options.

Feeling like he was still alive, Targul continues to push the attack. If he can get to the dwarf before the dwarf is defeated, he will. If not, he'll move to help the big barbarian. After all, we fighters need to stick together, especially when the others start using big words that we may not understand.

Geoffroy has concern for his companions, and wonders if he should join them for the battle before saying in frustration, "Should I leave to help them, could they not use my help? At the same time those here will need to be guided to safety." The cleric is not certain what to do, but felt restless within the caves.

Cratol watches and listens to the people as they get settled. He keeps a eye out towards the area the spiders are in to make sure they do not try to forage closer to the people. He will also make sure no children or survivors head towards the spider area.
