Initially Onwen begins to follow Nyzahr outside but as soon as he hears the ruckus and the chanting he stops mid stride, turns around briskly, and marches back to the cavern "Oh… I don't think so" he says and approaches Cratol
"I'm hearing people talking of a dragon and there's some weird chanting and screaming going out there. Maybe we should try to meet up with others in the tower? I really don't think I want to get caught out in the open."
Poljen smiles grimly when he sees Onthar's group try to escape. At least they had a chance now. But then he sees the marker follow the bold Sir Onthar. He yells out, "Keep firing! Ballista, again!" He shoots his bow at the dragon, hoping the ballista team can get a bead on the creature.
Targul watches the majestic dragon as it swoops low over the town and settles on the far side of the barn. Halfheartedly nudging Poljen he asks, "Should we go down there and fight it on the ground?" Even as he asks it, you can hear that this is one battle that his heart is not into.
Nyzahr swiftly casts a cloak of Invisibility around her and makes her way carefully towards the screaming group of Dragon Supporters, trying to get her bearings and find out what is at stake: there may be a way to even the odds if she finds out more about what the enemy is planing to do next.
Out of Character: :
- First throw in Stealth to approach the enemy undetected (We already saw that the dragonborn commander may have a way to pierce invisibility, right?)
- Second throw in Perception to see if she detects the red sphere and can figure out who is controlling it.
Fay sees the two bolts strike the dragon. "Not nearly enough" he thinks to himself. He aims and fires his ballista again and orders the other crew to do the same. He looks at his mother, "This is not going to be easy" he says to her. Afterwards he hums a stirring Elven battle song he learned when he was younger and a band Elven warriors moved through Yartar.
Out of Character: . Lia gains 1d6 she must use within the next ten minutes.
