Nyzahr once again arrives up the stairs just in time to witness yet another flippant provocation from the Silver Blaze answered swiftly by the dragon's raging attack.
She quickly realises two things: first, that the fact the dragon can be so easily provoked is something that they should use to their advantage. But also she is starting to see the pointlessness of her previous idea, as it seems their one remaining ballista is about to get torn to shreds, or mayhaps fried to charred tidbits, along with its artilleryman.
She stares at the great beast descending from the skies to rain wrath and lightning upon Cahleth, wondering if any of the shield holders are about to protect him…
Out of Character: : so yeah, scratch the "Rope-netting" idea for now, I guess…
What's the situation by the ballista, any mirror-shields available, so? Any soldiers about at all ? And if so, how many and what types?
Another question: is Nyzahr actually in range of Lennithon's attack along with Cahleth ?

Poljen and Nyzahr find their path up hindered by three panicking men rushing downwards, the ballista crew for this tower.
Fay and Lia fire again, to no better effect than before. They can see Lennithon diving towards Cahleth on the tower. The ranger dives towards the ballista moments before impact, and one last ballista bolt goes streaking out, catching the dragon in the chest at near point blank range. The raking dive becomes a tumble, as Lennithon impacts the top of the tower.
There is a great cracking of stone as the dragon's mass breaks off a significant portion of the tower as it falls. The great reptile goes tumbling down into the fort's courtyard, taking the ruined ballista and Cahleth along with it. Poljen and Nyzahr are showered with dust and bits of stone, and find themselves staring out of an opening in the tower that had not existed moments before, but are unharmed.
Lennithon lands on his back, head flopping down near where Fay and Lia stand. A fair sized pile of stone has landed on his right wing, he is badly injured, and he seems stunned, but he still lives. He is blinking dust out of his eyes and trying to get his bearings. Cahleth appears to be pinned under the dragon's wing, and isn't moving at the moment.
_______________
Outside the fort, Targul, Cratol, and Onwen are still making their respective ways back to the underground cavern when they hear a great crashing noise, and can see the dragon tumbling off of the fort's southeast tower, taking a portion of the stonework with it.

Out of Character: : Poljen should know if he can make it to the downed dragon just by running and using his Bonus Dash. If so, he will do so. If not, he will jump down and I will add an Athletics roll in case it is needed.
In Character: : Poljen cries out, "Now! Archers, shoot it! Keep shooting!" He then makes his way down to the fallen monster to use his sword on it.
Poljen assesses the distance, it would take him some time to get back down the tower, but he thinks he could easily land on the dragon if he jumps from here.
Out of Character: It would take double moving and bonus action dashing to get down there in one turn, so wouldn't be able to act this round.
If you want to jump onto Lennithon with your sword from here for a single attack, I'll not only give you advantage on the attack roll, but a 4d6 damage boost for the momentum. You'll take falling damage yourself, but raging would cut it in half.

Lia looks on in amazement as the dragon crashes to earth. She barely maintains her footing as the ground shakes from the nearby impact. Lia frowns worriedly as she saw Cahleth fall with the dragon.
Knowing that now is the time to finish the dragon she studies it looking for a weak spot. Seeing what appears to be a vulnerability she takes aim. " Please, Lady Sune, guide our hands. Great evil is in front of us. Please aid us in destroying it to save all of these people. " She takes aim at the area, closes her eyes visualizing where the arrow will strike and releases it with a great twang.
Specific Action: Power shot at downed dragon with advantage.
The grounds shudders as the huge beast crashes, its great head coming to rest mere feet from Fay and Lia. Fay quickly slings his crossbow and draws his two scimitars. He examines the monster's head and throat and espies an area where a few scales seem missing. He aims his scimitars for that area and hacks down hard, praying his attacks finish this creature off. As his blades flash he sees the brawny barbarian jump towards the Dragon. He prepares a Feather Fall spell then lets it die on his lips as he sees the man's intent is to drive his great weapon down into the creature, stealing its life as surely as he intends his scimitars to do. He smiles at the great feat the man is attempting, both in awe and out of respect. He yells at the militia, "Loose arrows while the creature is down."
Out of Character: Fay's bardic college allows him to add his ability modifier to both his attacks.
For the next while, trying to avoid the attention of the dragon, Geoffroy will seek to heal those of his companions most harmed by the dragon so far or most in need of aid. To cure their wounds or bring them back from unconsciousness or dying. If the dragon does turn his attention to the cleric, the man will see to avoid harm and fight defensively.
Out of Character: : By taking a total defense action, the dragon will attack at disadvantage and Geoffroy will make Dexterity saving throws with advantage. At least from what I can read. His focus will be keeping his allies alive and able to fight the dragon or otherwise engage it.

Geoffroy helped to heal Poljen before the barbarian rushed up the tower, went on to save the life of a man brought down by Lennithon's lightning breath, and finally finds himself wriggling underneath a partially pinned dragon's wing in order to reach his downed companion Cahleth.
Lennithon flails wildly, he breathes at Lia and Fay, but several shield bearers have rushed forward, and they duck behind one of them. The dragon's left wing and tail are proving especially troublesome, as he uses them to batter away at anyone approaching.
But the fort's defenders keep up the assault. As before, most projectiles simply bounce off of the thick hide, Lia's included, but more of them are penetrating now. Fay is able to score two long gashes in the dragon's neck, but gets clawed in the attempt.
The final insult comes when Poljen leaps from the tower, and lands with his falling weight behind his blade. It pierces deep into the soft scales of Lennithon's underbelly. The barbarian hits hard, and rolls away from the dragon, but it was enough. Lennithon spasms a few times more, and falls still, brilliant blue eyes already fading.
It is over, and all is still. For many moments the people around you wait with bated breath, more than half expecting the monster to get back up and resume its bloody rampage. Then someone gives a ragged cheer, and another, and soon the militia of Greenest are shouting in exultation at the unthinkable victory achieved here, and in praise of those who led them through it.
Thanks to Geoffroy's intervention, Cahleth survived the incident. But there seems to be something wrong with his legs, he cannot feel or move them, and simple healing spells are not helping.
[Poljen gets another 13 healing from Geoffroy, and then loses 9 HP in his jump from the tower. Fay takes 14 damage from the claw swipe.]
