Fay hears what Lia says and agrees. "My mother is wise" he thinks to himself. He takes heart from her words. He smiles slightly at her and then leans his back against a wall near to the entrance. He wants to be near if they breach the entrance. He then takes out his pan flute and plays a melody of peace and tranquility.

Lia relaxes hearing Fay play. She looks over and sees Poljen and remembers what she needed to do. " Fay, fatigue has clouded my mind. I need to speak with you in private when you have a moment. "

Nyzahr visibly sighs with relief as Geoffroy's healing washes over her burned skin like a cool breeze (Out of Character: will take the last lv 2 Cure Light Wounds for 16 HP, unless either Daishain or Thomaslee wish to do the attributing themselves… ?).

She soon wraps herself in what remains of her cloak and seems ready to sink down into a dreamless slumber, but she suddenly rises and makes her way towards the entrance, where she finds most of the group ready for battle.

Upon hearing them voice their concerns, and after greeting the red-haired one called Velon with a brief yet graceful curtsy, she sends out a mental image towards Lia, who seems to have taken charge of the situation:

- This One Can See In The Dark. The Lady Elf Can See In The Dark And Shoot Her Bow With Skill. What Say We Climb Onto The Battlements And Pick Out A Few Of Them ?
- These Ones Can See In The Dark. These Ones Can Count The Enemy.
- The Door Made Of Stone Can Be Defended From Inside. The Door Made Of Stone Can Be Defended From Above. These Ones May Gather Others To Throw Stones. Others May Pour Boiling Oil And Other Flammables. This Is After All A Siege, Let Us Treat It As Thus !

Out of Character: It should be noted that the escape tunnel exit is well away from the fort, a little under a thousand feet. Too far for darkvision to help, and certainly too far to drop rocks or pour oil. Secrecy was its primary defense.

Lia is caught off guard again when she sees the images in her mind. Looking towards Nyzahr curiously she responds mentally. " Soon, soon. That is a good idea. You and I can count the enemy and target them from afar. The tunnel entrance is too far away from the walls to do anything like that. I need to rest for a short time and speak with Fay first and I will then join you upstairs. "

The Friendly Necromancer says...

Onwen would need the last two rolls of the lv two casting of cure wounds to bring him back up to full health; a total of 16hp healed. He nods and gives Geoffrey a smile "I suppose there are exceptions to every rule, you and Lia appear to among them" he says in reference to his feelings about clerics and those of noble birth, the closest thing to saying thank you that he can muster at the moment.

Out of Character: : If everyone else is done accepting healing, and there are a few points left floating about, Poljen is down 11,which is less than a quarter of his HP. If it is all claimed, and we are getting a short rest he will use a Hit Die of healing. And he will offer his spyglass to Lia when she wants to scout the enemy from the walls in the dark.

The Quiet Shadow says...

Geoffroy will sit to rest after providing the healing he did to everyone, thankfully the Prayer of Healing allows him to heal many at once instead of him needing to heal each individually.

He was surprised and yet intrigued with how Onwen had given what was probably the closest thing to a thank you, given his feelings on clerics and nobility but he did not comment on such.

Geoffroy will watch the others and listen.

Out of Character: Just though I'd remind, just in case some hadn't checked the other thread in how I cast Prayer of Healing as suggested instead of all those Cure Wounds. This will allow Geoffroy to have more spells on hand to cast later.
