As the music comes to an end Mari smiles as Fay asks her for another dance later. " You are skilled as well Fay. As to another dance… You will have to ask later to get my answer. " Her eyes sparkle as she walks away grinning.
Lia will visit Cahleth as well. " I promise to check up on you in the future. If your legs aren't healed before then I will have the power from Sune one day to heal you. You will walk again I promise you. " She will go inside the fort and find a quiet corner to meditate.
Out of Character: : Haste is a great spell. So is fireball. Fireball is always useful when outnumbered. Animate dead seems fitting for Onwen. The rest of the group might not like it too much though. Edited: Kyrroeth on 6th May, 2017 - 12:48pm
Velon would not have much to celebrate as he didn't really rescue the prisoners nor did he help take down the dragon, and he worries for those that were taken. He would spend the rest of the day and into the evening walking around the city visiting families whose homes were destroyed or had loved ones taken. He would give each a bit of coin to help rebuild, feed their children, etc. And ask if there's anything else he can do for them.
Out of Character: Daishain what would be considered a generous sum by these families? 1 gold? More? Less? I'm not sure how many families are affected in this way or how many he could visit during this period of time.
Later that evening Fay finds Mari again. "Lady Mari, may I have the pleasure of one more dance this fine eve? Tis such a small thing I ask yet such a large boon you give. For in truth, your company under this star filled night is a gift from the gods." If Mari agrees Fay is a perfect gentleman and afterwards asks if he can escort her back to her sleeping quarters, where he leaves her safe and sound. Whether she agrees or not, he then roams around town for a bit, playing songs of lovers under the stars and moon. He eventually finds his way back to where he can sleep, and takes a long rest.
The next morning he is up and refreshed, quite amazed at all that transpired in such a short time. He heads out to meet the group and start the next phase of their journey. "Good morn to thee, Amillë, and to thee as well fair Lady Mari. Sir Poljen, you look hale and healthful this morn. Sir Onwen, Sir Geoffroy and Lady Elyria, Sir Velon, goodly monk Cratol, and Mysterious Nyzahr, good day to each of thee as well" he says as he nods to each in turn. "But, where is Targul?"
The night before Mari accepted Fay's request to dance again. She allowed him to escort her to where she was sleeping. " You are quite the honey tongued wordsmith Fay. My mother warned me about men like you. Better a bumbling talker than a smooth one for he has had much practice beguiling women. I'll keep my eye on you Fay. " Suddenly a dagger appears as if out of mid air and she catches it and sheathes it. Mari winks at him and grins.
The next morning Mari smiles at Fay as he tells everyone good morning. Lia stretches. " Good morning Ionneg. It is almost time to be… where is Targul indeed? And Cratol? Has anyone seen them?" Edited: Kyrroeth on 6th May, 2017 - 7:27pm
Fay smiles at Mari's barb and then feigns horror at the dagger. "Me wit is keen but that tells ye nothing of the man within" he says as he leaves, whistling. "And I shall keep an eye on thee as well, Mari" he thinks to himself as he breaks out in song.
Out of Character: Consider this as a bit before he starts singing and just after Fay drops off Mari.
Targul appears, it seems he has spent time contemplating alone. A Sending arrived for him last night. His mother needs him to return home. For what purpose he is reluctant to discuss, but it was apparently urgent enough for someone to pay a relatively high ranking mage to cast the spell.
He regrets his decision, but feels that he must answer the call, which will require leaving to the west, and sailing to the isle he was born on.
Out of Character: To calibrate Velon's generosity, few of the families around here are notably wealthy. Typical monthly income ranges between 5 and 30 gold pieces. If we equate the lower end of that scale with a US family making 3k a month, 1 gold piece would be about 600 dollars.
