Out of Character: About the only way to get to the guards unseen would be via Nyzahr's invisibility spells, but the drakes seem able to sniff you out.
You could try for a disguise, but very few of the army outside have entered this place, and you're still unsure if they just don't want to or are actually prohibited from doing so. Either way bluffing won't be easy.
And just in case Nyzahr takes a while to respond, she would quickly realize there's no chance a sleep spell would get them all. Several would have a chance, but they'd be sounding the alarm and attacking well before she'd be done.
Fay determines the best course of action is to scout down the other tunnel. He heads in the direction.
Out of Character: I was thinking both Fay and Nyzahr cast sleep at 2nd level. But even then I think it would be problematic. Bad rolls would spell (Pardon the pun) the death of them.

Fay and Nyzahr find themselves in a wide passage similar to the one they just left. However, there aren't any guards lounging around in here.
They come to a large door on the left. Loud sounds of laughter and revelry can be heard from the other side. Peeking through the gaps in the frame shows glimpses of a barracks hall, with a large number of men sitting, drinking, and gambling.
Other doors lie ahead.
The next door is better sealed, so you can't peek in. That may be for the best however, as you can hear several voices, Cyanwrath's included.
Him and at least two others seem to be haggling over the price of some manner of shipment, with an unknown male voice claiming the last batch received was not worth the price paid. Cyanwrath sounds like he is losing his patience with the whole affair.
Do you continue listening, back out, or continue on?

The next door is sturdy, and securely locked. There is no sound or other signs of life from within.
Outside the cave, Lia and Mari are breathing shallowly as a patrol sweeps by their wagon. Fortunately, they only give it a cursory glance before moving on.
Fay and Nyzahr look to see if there are any more doors. They will give them each a cursory inspection. Then they will back out to to look at the last passage.
Out of Character: Are there any foot steps at all heading in that direction?
