As Mari, Poljen, and Fay cross into the room, a heavy and sticky mass is flung down from above. Fay and Poljen find themselves stuck to the floor.
Mari manages to dodge the webbing instinctually, she turns and looks up behind her, and shrieks in terror.
Out of Character: you didn't think they'd actually leave those eggs guarded only by a handful of unarmed kobolds did you? Roll for initiative.

Nyzahr proceeds with her theatrics under the guise of Cyanwrath:
"... Listen, you insolent fool ! I am a war commander and a warrior, I do not 'play', I execute orders and remove threats for my Lord and Master, Wyrmspeaker Galvan. Now pay attention: The Great Wyrmspeaker has taken notice of your work in our service and not only is the human merchandise on its way, but Galvan has made you the supreme honor of summoning you to appear in his presence: he wishes you to participate in our holy mission in a, shall we say, more direct manner.
Needless to say, the boon for such a deed would magnify your gains a-hundred-fold… and refusal to do so would greatly anger the Great Wyrmspeaker. Greatly, indeed."
At this, Cyanwrath-Nyzahr gives the little fat man a cold, long and meaningful reptilian look.
Out of Character: let's see if greed or fear get this little man to drop his guard… if it does, Nyzahr knows exactly what she'll say next.
(Daishain, I made 3 rolls for 3 different communication skills in the other thread, pick the ones you think may apply… Nyzahr will also use a Bardic Inspiration Die to boot, if possible).

Ice runs through Lia's veins. Fear for her companions threatens to hold her to the spot. She shakes her head and forces her leaden limbs to move. Seeing Fay trapped like that fills her with rage. She will walk around the edge of the room until she can see what is causing such terror in Mari.
Out of Character: : It was all going so well.

Azbara starts laughing, "You lot certainly have grown bold as of late. If I thought you had any hope of success in your 'holy mission', I'd have killed you myself. And I am certainly not about to tie my fate to yours."
Out of Character: He doesn't seem to be bluffing about killing Cyanwrath if it suited him. Whether or not he is mistaken about his ability to do so is less clear.

When people look in the direction that Mari is, they can see a ledge carved into the stone above the entry. Perched on the edge is a massive monstrosity.
It bears the horns and scales of a black dragon, but lacks wings, and has far too many other appendages. Eight legs, way too many eyes, and two draconic tails protruding from a particularly fat abdomen.

The creature is already weaving another ball of webbing to fling at the group.

Nyzahr is somewhat taken aback by Azbara's brazen threat and haughty attitude: she starts to realize she has perhaps underestimated the little fat slaver's powers. In any case, she intends to persevere in her bluffing until he either reveals his plans, exposes himself directly (As unlikely as that may be), or at least let enough information slip so that they can discover where the slave caravan is bound to…
She's now forced to improvise:
" You would do well not to underestimate the ancient powers of Galvan and our 7-Headed Mistress, Slaver ! Be warned that she will know who favoured her rise and who mocked her faithful devotees when she arrives from the depths… an event which is now both unstoppable and imminent. But enough babbling: will you accept The Wyrmspeaker's invitation ? Or do you wish to compromise our dealings ? You know we have always complied with our part of the bargain, even if our goals differ somewhat… And there is also the matter of the caravan. We must speak of this further."
Out of Character:
Pushing her advantage, here… if only Azbara accepts the idea of either coming to meet the Wyrmspeaker or receiving a delegation, this could be a chance for the Blaze to neutralize him, or at least know more about his plans.

Velon steps out from near the entryway and blasts a firebolt at the creature's abdomen. He fears burning Poljen and Fay alive by igniting the current or incoming webbing, thus the focus of his aim. After casting he'll use his remaining movement to once again take cover under the ledge and doorway so that he too is not webbed.
