Round Five

Cratol keeps cracking eggs, there is a sharp cry he cracks open an egg apparently quite close to hatching. The infant within begins crying loudly as it waves its limbs feebly in the cool air of the hatchery chamber.

Fay sings another song of dissonance at the Stalker. It cringes, but remains put this time. Onwen follows up with another casting of Magic Missile. Mari looks startled at Lia's instruction, but then sets off at a run.

The Stalker spits a glob of acid at Velon, he avoids the worst of it, but his gear steams from the fluid.

Lia heals Poljen with a touch, and Velon bolsters his companions with a spell. Poljen leaps at the wall, and climbs up swiftly. He closes in on the creature, striking at it with his sword, scoring one good hit.

[Velon just took 19 acid damage. Poljen recieves another 18 healing. Velon, Lia, and Poljen are now blessed.]

Poljen, glad to be once more in his element of face-to-face with his enemy, grins maniacally and does his best to slash through the creatures bizarre hide, a curious mix of scales and chitin.

Cratol will move on to the next egg leaving the infant screaming. He hopes that its cries help motivate the monster to come help.

" Get to cover Velon" Lia utters as she sees him hit by the acid. Regret fills her but she knows she must save all her healing for Poljen. She will sprint to the wall and begin climbing up after Poljen. Lia hopes to make up with effort what she lacks in climbing ability.

Specific Action: She will her use action to run and her bonus action to dash. Lia will try to scale the wall or get as high up it as she can this turn.

Dang..I should have made those attacks reckless… well, maybe next round. This time I will simply spend the Inspiration die on that second attack.

Out of combat: Sorry team, but because Velon took damage I have to roll a con save for you to keep your bless. This will likely determine my action for this turn, so I'll hold off on that for now. Luckily I have advantage due to War Caster and Bless itself helps!

Fay continues singing his song to the creature. Once he completes that he sends the last of his inspiration to Poljen. "Use it well" he thinks.

Round Six (Partial)

Fay casts Dissonance, but again the Stalker shrugs off the worst of it. Lia attempts to climb up to the ledge with Poljen, but her hand slips, and then her foot, and she goes tumbling back down to the ground. Onwen, for his part, keeps up the Magic Missile onslaught, it does seem to be having an effect, if slowly.

The Stalker grabs Poljen in its jaws, and retreats. Exhausted from his recent ordeal, the barbarian is unable to resist as he is dragged back, out of view of his companions.

[Lia took 3 damage from her fall. Party does not have line of sight on Stalker or Poljen at present. Poljen is currently grappled, and took 20 piercing damage and 11 acid. After resistances, that totals to 21 damage]
