Fay looks at Velon and arches an eyebrow. "Aye, that be me thought too. Mayhaps we leave this for a time and find the scroll if it exists. That gives us options and methinks this statue will move not far whilst we search."
Out of Character: and this time the right thread.
Geoffroy follows after the monk, before saying, "Hold my friend, I felt a rope was a good idea. Everyone was simply offering a few different ideas." He had not spoken up sooner because the distraction of all being discussed, though he noticed when Cratol left.
The Morningliege smiles, before continuing, "Please, return and I will help make sure you are heard." In truth, Geoffroy was keeping watch for any feeling their ideas were unheard or unappreciated which is why he was quick to follow. Though admittedly, many of the ideas being discussed could work.

" Geoffroy, oft times the simplest solution is the best. Having one of our stronger heroes hitting it with a mace or maul will most likely destroy it. We can then stand ready to heal them if need be. I feel that we are wasting precious time debating the means of destroying it. "
Velon steps back towards the center of the room and takes out his mace. "We can try pulling it over if this doesn't work." He looks at Poljen, "Care to join me?"
Before striking the statue he glances over his shoulder, smiles and winks at the party. "It was nice knowing you." Velon strikes the statue with a thunderous boom and a flash of radiant energy (Assuming he hits).
Out of character: Just trying to keep things moving. We already have characters wandering off again. Booming blade plus the mace's smite ability.
Fay looks at the head fall. "Gods, that is better. Keep it up man. You have the right of it."
Fay then walks over to Poljen, he reaches up and puts his hand on the big man's shoulder. "Heartily sorry I be to ye. I treated ye poorly whilst fighting the beastie. 'Twas fear for me mother speaking. Ye did better than I would have done leading this group of misfits."
He walks away then, hoping any breach between them can be healed. His affection for the big man clearly evident from the pained expression on his face knowing he hurt one he thinks of as friend.
