South Camp, Round Four
Cahleth misses with his first shot, but his second strikes home, activating his spell. The initial target falls, nearly torn to pieces. Several others stagger about, badly wounded by the explosion of thorns. Geoffroy comes running up, but has a fair distance to go to reach the others. His noisy approach attracts some attention, and a few bows swing his way.
The two warriors do not fair as well this time around, both of them unable to connect with their targets. Poljen ends up surrounded, with several making it difficult to keep moving.
Round Five
Cahleth kills one of those wounded by his previous spell, but misses his second target. Geoffroy reaches Targul and channels Lathander's light to heal the half orc. This comes just in time to keep the flagging fighter from collapsing. Reinvigorated, he strikes out, wounding another opponent. One man attempts to strike Poljen's weapon out of his hand, the barbarian holds on, but his attempt to strike back is spoiled.
At about this time, you can hear shouting and the sound of metal clanking. It sounds like the rest of your backup is nearly here.
[Only two opponents down this time, 7 remaining. Targul is healed for 16 HP, and wounded for 20, leaving him on the verge of unconsciousness again. Geoffroy took a few hits as well coming in, losing a total of 11 HP. Once they finally surround Pol, they have a little easier time hitting the wily man, he takes 15 damage. Both of them would have been down long before if it wasn't for their respective sources of damage resistance.]

Caravan, Round Three
Cratol strikes the sorceress again with his staff, but just can't seem to connect with his other strikes. Lia's spell harms her, and an arrow blooms from her shoulder as one of the guards knocked down in her escape joins the fray.
For her part, she casts a spell, Cratol feels something pressing on his mind. But his discipline allows him to ignore the effect.
[Cratol passed his save vs Hold Person]

North Camp
Sar'ai, as Lia and Cratol disappear, you're left alone in this camp with one tied up bandit and a large number of women who are starting to regain some hope. What are you up to?
Now that he has their attention, Poljen will stay in the same place, swinging his sword, blocking with his shield, and dazzling them with his footwork. He can feel his blood streaming from various wounds, but knows that with his comrades all around, at a minimum, his death will be witnessed so that it may be sung about! Of course, if they revive him that would also be acceptable…
Targul continues to battle, as well. With reinforcements showing up, he feels that the end is near for this battle. One way or the other, the party should be victorious.
In his attacks, Targul will be using the situation to his advantage as much as possible. That is, he'll attack enemies that are distracted by others or try to finish off individuals that are overwhelmed by his team mates.
As Lia and Cratol head off toward the southern camp, Sar'ai turns to the guard, "Well, seems as though I am to take you back to our caravan where you will be held as a captive with the rest of what's left of your pathetic little operation here. But I do not believe I personally am quite finished with you yet."
She looks to the newly freed women who have since coalesced near her, "Who's up for a little game? I call it 'truth or trophy'!" A smile crawls across her face as she turns back to meet the guard's eyes. "It is quite a simple game, really. I am going to ask you some questions and you are going to answer them. See, simple, right?" The half-drow's smile gets wider as she continues, "If, and I can not stress that word enough, you answer all my questions to my satisfaction, I may actually allow you to leave this place. Without your sword or any other weapons, of course, but your life and freedom must be worth more than those to you, yes?"
Sar'ai doesn't wait for a response from the guard, "Ah, but there is a catch. You see, for every question you either answer with a lie, not to my satisfaction or hell, even refuse, well, you see these women here you've been so 'valiantly' guarding?" The wizard motions to the women surrounding him basically at this point, "Well, I am going to let one of them take something from you. You may be wondering what you have to offer, yes?" Sar'ai pulls one of her newly sharpened daggers out of its sheath and holds it in front of the guard's face, "You, my dear, have many things to offer. Ears, fingers, tongue, I could go on but I do believe you get what the 'trophy' part of my game is now, hmm?"
With that, Sar'ai stares at the guard, "Well then, are you ready? Never mind that, your readiness is of no interest to me. So, first question; Who was this Linn fellow and why was he keeping only wome… " her question is cut short as the sound of an explosion coming from the direction of the caravan catches Sar'ai off guard. "What the… Elanna, I need eyes, now!"
The owl takes flight and surveys the situation reporting back what has transpired.
"I knew leaving her alive was a bad idea!" Sar'ai, looks back to the guard, "Damn! Looks like we'll have to finish our little game later." Then looking to the women, "Ladies, if you'll excuse me, I believe I must attend to a situation. I leave this man in your charge." The half-drow smiles wryly as she motions to the longsword stuck in the ground, "If he tries anything, do what you feel you must. I told Lia I would not take this mans life, I said nothing of what any of you may be capable of, though if you can keep from killing him it would be preferable." Then with that she heads off into the direction of Lia and Cratol.
Out of Character: Sar'ai will be bonus action dashing so she can move 90' per round without the "Run" penalty and Elanna will be 60' up in the sky following her with ease (120' fly speed when dashing). So just let me know when I'm within about 100' of the caravan.

Cahleth takes a deep breath, not liking the situation he has gotten his mates into. He relaxes slightly as he sees Geoffroy rush into battle. "At least if someone goes down, we can pull him back before it is too late."
Wanting to end the fight sooner, rather than later, he decides to unleash another Hail of Thorns. He may catch someone in the fray, but that chance may be worth it with so many enemies still standing. As he pulls his bow string back he grins mischievously and thinks, "It's not like it is a fireball or anything… "
Out of Character:Obviously I want to hit as many bad guys as possible with this, and only one ally (Ideally zero allies). Rolled a lot of Hail of Thorns dice below, use as many as needed. DC13 Dexterity Save, Success = Half Damage.
Geoffroy smiles as he get to see his companion healed and invigorated, able to strike down another bandit, before yet again being struck himself.
Sighing, the cleric called upon Lathander's yet again to cure Targul's wounds before he fell in battle. The Morninglord trust also defend himself from any who might attack him.
