Velon starts to get just a tad frustrated. "I don't want to simply study magic, taking the eggs without the orb isn't all that different than simply smashing all of the eggs. They'll never hatch. If we can't move the eggs but do take the orb, however, it may render them useless to Cyanwrath for a time. I'm simply asking if anyone can think of any magical means of moving or disabling it."

He then turns to Cratol. "Would you mind if we try putting the bag of holding around the orb? It certainly has the ability to negate some such forces, like the weight of ordinary objects."

Out of character: Although terrible at it, Velon will make an Arcana check to try to think of a way to disable or move the orb. He'll get closer to study it, touching it even. The problem perplexes and frustrates him.

Fay sees Velon studying the orb and starts to sing a song of the arcane arts, hoping it will help him in his studies.

Out of Character: Velon gets to roll an additional 1d8 and add that to his ability check. And now Fay is out of inspiration too.

Velon is surprised to hear a song at this moment, and looks at Fay with a smile. It does ease his frustration, allowing him to focus more on the task at hand.

Out of character: Too bad Velon is terrible at this (-1), having had his powers granted to him recently and not having ever studied this subject, or any really, very much. Maybe we'll get lucky!

Lia hears Velon talking about the orb. She walks over and studies it. Lia grins. " Sometimes it takes a woman to do something right. " Lia winks then resumes her studies.

Out of Character: : Which class do you plan on being your main Cinder? I'm just curious.

Cratol will wait as they study the orb before he will try to get it in his pack. If it is able to fit he will place it in with the instruments.

Instinctively, Velon points his fingers at one of the more prominant glyphs and rotates his hand a little.

The orb starts humming. Right about at the point where he's starting to get worried, the hum fades, as does the orb's glow, and it slowly settles to the ground.

Cratol will pick it up after Velon nods to him and place it in the backpack if it will fit. If it does not fit in the main pouch he will remove some of the rations from the side pouch and place it in there. He can give the rations to the freed prisoners.

"Aha, that's it." He smiles and winks at Lia in response to her ribbing.

"Ok let's go. Are we taking a few of the eggs? What else is left to do in this horrid cave?"

Velon stuffs the orb in his pack along with one egg and readies his other gear. He thanks Fay for the assistance with a genuine smile and nod while heading towards the exit of the room.
