Poppo is amazed as his spell has its heat drawn from it by the mold until it dies. He then says, "Does anyone have some chalk? Maybe we should mark on the wall and floor to watch out for the mold and to use cold instead of heat to kill it. Don't want anyone to make the same mistake we almost did."
Poljen nods in agreement with Silas's comment. "Of course." He turns to the others and says, "I will move the bodies, but others should search." With a shrug he adds, "More likely to spot anything I'd miss at any rate." Stepping carefully, and wary of feeling any chill other than from the snow and water now on the floor, he begins to carefully bring the bodies one at a time further away from the mold. As he does so he says to Poppo, "Nicely done! Magic impresses me once more."

Geoffroy watches as all discussed the mold and the solution offered to get around the hazard, thankful as well Silas had been there to warn them. It was possible one of them could have recalled what the mold was but at the same time they likely would have made the mistake to use fire.
Looking to Silas, he says softly, "Thank you, it could have turned out much more different without you here." Turning to the other Geoffroy continues, "I say move the bodies carefully, and then search for any means of identifying them. Perhaps when Silas goes back up he can have the bodies brought up the well."
Silas shakes his head, "I won't be able to pass this way again in the immediate future, I have a date with some angry black dragons remember? But I can send word back, get someone to pick them up."
There are four bodies that had been caught in the mold, Three human and one dwarven. Much of their gear has been rendered useless by the intense temperature shifts, but Poljen quickly finds a shield, a belt, a set of studded leather armor, and a wooden token with a tree on it, all of which appear to have some magic.
There is also a love letter, apparently addressed to the one carrying it. It mentions the town of Daggerford. The deceased might hail from there.
From various coin purses, Poljen gathers 49 gold, 26 silver, and 12 copper pieces.
"We aren't far from the well, why don't we use one of those flares; send one of us up with the bodies to explain the situation. The adventurers are likely to be recognized by the tavern employees."
"As for their gear, it's up to the group on if we should keep it or send it with the bodies. It may depend on the quality and properties of the magic."

Cratol makes sure the bodies are placed out f the way but visible to anyone coming down to retrieve the bodies or passing by. He will ask Lia, "Can you say some words for these adventurers so their souls find peace and rest?"
