Fay looks with concern at Oswald, "Is't safe for ye to be going alone? How will we know if ye be in trouble and in need of our help? If ye take a second person with ye it'd be twice as hard for em to overpower ye with spell or force. A'course, it doubles the chance of discovery too."
With regard to the web and side passages, Velon groans as if in severe pain, grimacing. "I couldn't agree more with Fay… " He exhales, "Wow, that was tough… " "If we go looking for trouble in here, we're sure to find it. This place is endless!"
Velon will remain with the rear guard unless a severe threat calls him forward. The spider web reminds him of the Stalker, and he pictures such a creature snatching Lia, or even Fay, away with one silent motion. He wouldn't mind seeing how the new members of the group handle a minor threat, anyhow. He's keeping an eye out for any group members falling behind he, Lia, and Fay, or wandering off to the side somewhere.
"True on both points Fay, but I have no intention of engaging them, just looking to get close enough to determine who they are, what their purpose here is, and if they are a threat."
His hand moves to his holy symbol. "And don't worry, if something happens, everyone will know. The light of Lathander will fill that chamber."
He thinks for a moment. "A second set of eyes up front will help, especially to keep watch on me if you can, but a person to aid me in engagement if needed is also useful. Poppo, how well is you darkvision? Do you think you'd be able to aid me from afar if something happens? I'd like you up front with Poljen. I'll take any additional eyes up front too if anyone else wants to come up."
He turns to Fay. "I understand the concern, but there are times when I will need to head out infront of the group. But I will never do it brashly. This is what I've done for almost half my life, I ensure that the path we travel is safe for everyone."

Jharen steps forward and does a small curtsy towards Oswald.
" So, master Deepshadow, since there is already a light ahead, I reckon my skills can be put to good use. I'll come along… ", he throws a glance towards the others "If everyone agrees on that, of course. But let's agree or disagree quickly, time is of the essence here. Thinking of which… ", he looks towards Poppo now:
"Little Master, Oz has a fair point. I do know a few subterranean idioms, amongst these Undercommon, which is fairly used around the dark terrains beneath the Sword Coast… but if you have any other trick up your little sleeve to help us understand whatever conversations we're able to catch, that'd go a long way to make this easier… "
Jack suppresses a cringe as the ring's voice comments:
' Woah, son, that was spoken with a flour- *hic* -ish, goodly words and all !... Pardon me them hic*hic*cups there, I'z got me yon heart burn agin ! *hurps* '
Oswald places his hand on Jack's shoulder, he gives it a slight squeeze of appreciation and gives him a look akin to saying; "Thank you, I wanted you to join me up there but didn't want to ask."
"You guys figure out the rest; me and Jack will scout ahead." Pausing long enough for someone to cast spells on them, if any, Oswald and Amber Jack begin to head towards the light. They keep low, keep to the shadows, and are moving slowly enough for Oswald to spy out any traps.
Out of Character: Perception to look for traps and listen to the conversation.
Stealth for… we all know what it's for.
Insight to determine if they are a threat.
Intelligence to decipher what they are saying.

Poljen watches as their new scouts move off into the darkness. Part of him still marvels at his new ability to see better in the dark, but he quickly focuses on keeping his ears and eyes sharp to any threat. He stands at the very front of the group holding back, along with Cratol. The two of them tend to be the fastest, so if there is trouble they should be in front to get their quickly.
