Deciding quickly in how he will help, Geoffroy will begin offering a soft prayer to Lathander. For a blessing of sorts, but in the form of a Shield of Faith which surrounds Poljen since he would be facing the metallic bull with petrifying gaze. He will avoid falling back though, so as to continuing to support Silas and his friend.

Out of Character: : I am all out of high level offensive spells, so I hope this will do to help. Admittedly, it doesn't quite help in the meta plans for Geoffroy.

Fay moves near Poljen and starts to sing a song. The words are difficult to understand. The music also has no harmony. The dissonance is slightly unsettling to all who hear. But it is the charging beast he aims the music at, for him it is truly unnerving.

Out of Character: Fay casts at third level.

Round One

Poljen and Jack fire at the Gorgon as it charges up, with the former scoring a hit.

For its part, the beast lowers its head and charges at the closest target, Poljen. The impact is audible, but somehow the man succeeds in standing his ground. Shaking its head, the Gorgon steps back a half pace, confused at being stopped mid movement.

The Gorgon Silas coopted ceases shaking, then turns and charges south, disappearing into the darkness again. You can hear shouts of anger and alarm in that direction.

Lia moves closer and burns the remaining creature with radiance. Fay does the same, targeting it with sibilant whispers. The gorgon bellows, and flees a short distance.

Not expecting it to move like that, Velon's firebolt flies wide and impacts the wall. Poppo's missiles are not so easily deterred, rapidly turning to intercept and strike the beast.

Geoffroy meanwhile casts a spell, its glow falling over Poljen and settling in.

[Poljen would have taken 26 damage on impact, but resistance brings that down to 13. Still no sign of the duergar, it sounds like they're a little busy at the moment.]

Fay continues to sing his unnerving song and to stand near Poljen. He will move as Poljen moves, standing to his side and slightly behind him.

Out of Character: Fay casts at Dissonant Whispers second level.

Jack watches in wonder as the Silver Blaze gives the gorgon a thorough thrashing.

"Now I'm starting to understand what all the fuss was about", he thinks appreciatively, "... Sure glad I'm on their side of the argument !".

He smiles widely and gives Velon a whistle: "You wanna get in there, carrot-top? I got your back !"

He then shoots another bolt at the beast, hoping to detect a weak point in its carapace while it attempts to escape The Last Of The Snow Leopards' rain of sword blows.

Out of Character: attempts sneak attack on the Gorgon with his crossbow and keeps Help available for Velon (Or whoever desires it, just give him a sign, y'all!).

Out of Character: Appreciate the Help! It's good for Velon as he only gets one swing and needs to make it count. In this case however, the beast is a bit far away. Will get into melee if it ever stays close to where the group is currently.

Velon hesitates to leave Silas as they discussed, but listens to Jack and knows Mari and the others will watch him. He steps forward (Just to K9) and unleashes another firebolt. "Your vegetable comparisons are most flattering. You may make me blush!"
