Lia curses as she hears someone stumble. She stands shocked for a moment as the huge worm rises through the floor and snatches up Mari. Trying to calm herself she calls upon Sune to bless her companions. As she does so she backs away to get some distance between herself and the worm. " Stand firm everyone. Don't panic. "
Mari is gripped by panic as the worm lifts her up and is about to swallow her. She screams in terror and wriggles wildly trying to get free.
Out of Character: : I rolled to see how many charges her wand of lightning bolts recovered overnight. She had one charge left previously.
Specific Action: Lia cast bless upon Poljen, Fay and herself.

Poppo had been quiet since Geoffrey had fallen to the Gorgon's breath. The others maintained a more jovial tone and he assumed it was just their way to handle the situation. He busied himself with preparing the hut for everyone who could fit and make a simple stew from items he had packed. When he was asked to identify the items he assisted and was glad to be busy. Finally, he had settled on his bedroll to rest and recover his spells for the day to come.
When it was time to break camp, Poppo had taken the time to tweak his spell selection for the next day and took his place in line. When the group arrived in the large room he was about to make his way across the vast space when Silas' warning stopped him. He froze in place but then heard the clattering of the rock across the floor. Then chaos erupted.
Trying to remain standing, Poppo's eyes widened as the giant worm-like creature erupted from the floor. Gulping, he shook his head and mentally flipped through his spell choices as Mari was snatched up. Finally, he decided to launch a lightning bolt at it, hoping the shock would make it let her go. Moving so that he won't hit anyone else, he launches the bolt and prays for good fortune.
Oswald draws his arrow, readies his bow, takes aim; and is immediately blinded by the sun sword as it is drawn. He turns his head and mutters; "Well, there goes my sneak attack option."
He lowers his bow, and covers his eyes to see the battle field better. He sees Poljen up on the creature and cast Shield of Faith upon him. He then uses his bonus action to hide.
Out of Character: : I forgot to roll my Dexterity save earlier. Here it is with bless added on. I changed out Protection from Energy for Spirit Guardians overnight as well. I hope that it isn't too late to note that. I don't plan on using it in this battle anyways.

Jack has barely time to dive away from the huge worm through a shower of rocks and debris. Dusting himself, he takes careful aim with his crossbow, trying to keep from coughing and sputtering, which would attract the creature's attention.
"These beady little things near its maw must be its ears… or eyes… ? Whatever, that's bound to hurt."
He holds his breath, counts to three at releases his bolt at the creature after taking a crouching position near Oswald, who seems to fumble with his Night Goggles again. Jack nudges his friend with his elbow before saying, between two fits of coughing: " Oz, you aim that longbow and I'll guide your shots, brother. Careful… a little more to the left… Now ! "
Out of Character:
Use Help action on Oswald, which should cancel out his Daylight Vision disadvantage.
Tries Sneak attack on the worm with his crossbow, while remaining away from a direct attack if he can.
One more question: Does the Uncanny Dodge feat halve the damage from the falling rocks in this case as well ? In other words: is a shower of debris considered a Direct Attack ?
Round One
Poljen and Velon charge in and strike hard while Fay Induces psychic pain. Oswald scores a hit with his bow, and Cratol lands a series of blows. But the worm doesn't seem greatly phased by the onslaught.
Silas moves away from the creature, and then says a few words, pointing at Mari. Mari vanishes, and Silas appears in her place. As the young rogue sprawls on the floor where the dragon sorcerer had stood a moment ago, Silas vanishes down the Worm's gullet.
Mari is bleeding from multiple scrapes and puncture wounds from the thing's teeth, but she is mostly intact. Elyria rushes over to her, and begins healing the young woman's injuries
A lightning bolt stabs through the creature as Poppo unleashes his own brand of fury on it, and Lia casts Bless upon her companions.
[I rolled a sneak attack hit for Oswald. Go ahead and roll the damage. P.S. No, Uncanny Dodge does not help here. Evasion would be the ability you'd need for this, but that comes online at level 7. Battlemap updated, though it isn't as critical for this fight as the last Source 3e]

Out of Character: I am really not liking the Dungeon Master right now. Purple worms are a pain in the arse. *laugh*
In Game: Cratol keeps on fighting hitting the giant worm with all he has. He is still at a disadvantage due to level one of exhaustion.
Poppo is relieved to see Mari appear behind him and to see her wounds are being attended. Turning his attention back to the worm. "It's not nice to eat people, Mr Wiggly. Take that!"
Poppo unleashed another lightning bolt at the worm hoping to dissuade it from eating anyone else and hoping that Silas had a way out of his predicament.
