Zarra, you have discovered that part of the high road between Neverwinter and Waterdeep has recently been swallowed up by the Mere of Dead Men. You are currently travelling along the partially completed detour. Vegetation has largely been cleared, and you passed by a team of men digging down for a road bed a few days ago.
For the past several minutes however, you cannot seem to shake the feeling that you are being watched (Roll perception)
Velon notices that the bulging section of the Wyrm's throat shrinks back down shortly after it stops moving. A muffled voice returns his call, "Keep that mouth propped open if you don't mind, I'm coming out."
Cratol and Fay don't see or hear anything immediate.
Motion can be seen down the worm's throat, and a slime covered badger crawls out, long claws digging into the dead flesh and slowly pulling him forward.
The badger exits the maw, changes back into human form, and shudders a bit as he starts cleaning himself off bit by bit with a cantrip. "Right when I was enjoying just being Silas again, along comes a reminder of the downsides of this life. Could be worse, at least I didn't have to wait out the digestive system this time. Mari, are you all right? Anyone else hurt?"

Zarra found it concerning that the Mere of Dead Men had swallowed up part of the road, and had a feeling of being exposed as if being watched. The drow will look around, listen for anything which might raise alarm as she opened her senses to her surroundings.
