Out of Character: I would like to offer this small inquiry, in consideration of there being other good drow than just Drizzt, what of Eilistraee? Sure, she is a lesser power or goddess but still this implies she does have followers.
Admittedly, her worshipers mostly consist of those drow who hope to escape the danger and darkness of the Underdark and Lolth's evil, taking back their place in the surface world.
Yet she also welcomes beings of all races, commonly other elves, humans, and especially half-elves being among such. Allsharing the desire of seeing all races living in harmony, without pointless discrimination or wars, and work towards that goal.

Zarra finds the pain in her leg eases considerably as radiant magic washes over her. On testing it, she finds the muscle strong enough to stand on once more.
Soon enough the stew is finished. Jad smiles as bowls are passed out while the group begins to make camp near the cave. "Clara and I figured this might be your last chance for a hot meal for a while, so we came prepared. It may be best to stick to rations from here on. The fish are generally safe to eat in the mere, but almost nothing else is, and it likely won't be safe to light a fire in there regardless. The skiffs we have for you are well made, they'll glide through the water easily, and can be carried over land by one person if need be."
"Whatever you do, stay out of the deep water if you can. The kind of fish we're enjoying tonight would gladly return the favor, and the undead sometimes rest under the surface until disturbed. And then there are the leeches… "
Out of Character: Either Velon or Oswald's magic would do the trick for Zarra, feel free to debate over who actually got the honor. Eilistraee is indeed a factor, but she is not well known or understood by most on the surface. There's no particular guarantee anyone among the party other than Zarra would know the significance of that goddess. Though if anyone does it would likely be Lia.

As Velon prepares his spell Oswald nods in agreement. "Good idea, with who knows what in these swamps, it's a good idea for us to cast both a heal and a cure to make sure."
He places his hand over the wound and utters; "Medicinam vulnerum iaceretur secundo." A brief but bright light flashes over the wound, will all traces of injury gone.
Oswald gets up and heads outside to join the rest of the group for dinner; pausing at the door to motion for Zarra to join him.
Out of Character: Cast Cure Wounds at second level.

Fay takes in Lia's words. When Zarra emerges he takes a long hard look at her. "I will watch as well Amillë" he says so only Lia can hear.
Fay listens to all that is said during dinner, "Let me start by paying me compliment to the chef. If this be our last hot meal fer a while it be a fine one… couldn't ask fer better. Which brings up a question, how far is the lair we seek? Will travel be in hours, days, or a week or more."
Out of Character: Do we have a map? If not, I'm sure one of us would ask for one.

Jad replies, "You decided on the shorter path yes? Then you should arrive at castle Naerytar on the second day if things go smoothly. As to how long your time at the castle will take, and whether the short path will be available on the way out, who knows?"
It is getting late, and shortly after the sun dips below the horizon, you can see a silvery light out in the swamp. Glowing like an obscene moon, the head of a woman, with a trailing mass of internal organs, lifts up into the sky, and begins slowly floating over the mere. From this distance, the head must be the size of a large barn. Source 9n
Jad takes a look with a disgusted frown, "Oh, yeah, and then there's that. No one seems to know her story. The size of that penanggalen seems to have been increased by magic, which likely explains the glowing as well. I can only recommend staying out of her way, which fortunately should not be difficult."
Out of Character: Yes, you have maps, several copies thereof.
