Fay drops his crossbow into the second skiff and closes the rest of the distance to the creature. He unsheathes his Sun Blade and begins to hack at the creature. After attacking, he gets into his parrying stance and sings a song of inspiration for Poljen to hear.
Out of Character: I assume Fay can only unsheathe one weapon per round. He will attack twice with his Sun Blade, for his reaction he will assume a parrying stance (+1 to AC), and his bonus action is to inspire Poljen… if he still has a bonus action. Unsheathing his sword may use that. If not let me know and I'll provide it to Poljen next round.
My understanding is that drawing a weapon counts as a Free Action, and each character can have one of those per round. So Fay should be able to provide the Inspiration. That's the good news. The bad news is that while Poljen and Fay rolled the same Initiative, Poljen has a slightly higher Dexterity, so he goes first. Thus the Inspiration can not be used this turn. Believe me, if it was available, I'd use it to make sure Poljen rolled at least a 25... And currently the Inspiration Fay provides is a d8, correct?
Lia grits her teeth in anger. She unlimbers her bow and takes aim at the creature away from Poljen. She unleashes the bow's magic and casts hunters mark. As the arrow streaks away she is silently willing it to strike home.
Mari will drop her bow and pull free a short sword as she races over to the creature and begins hacking away.
Out of Character: : Lia will use her power attack with the sharpshooter feat. She uses her bonus action to cast Hunter's Mark. Mari will use a bonus action to unsheath her sword.

Jack has kneeled behind the skiff Cratol and Fay dropped and keeps shooting at the rotting, moving mass of organic matter, careful not to hit Poljen, who's now hidden beneath the moving compost mass.
Out of Character:
Shoots with crossbow, Help action on Mari's next sword attack.
