Jack stands looking around the seemingly never-ending expanse of murky water, moldy tree trunks and reeds and scratches his head pensively.
"Maybe there's a way to do a bit of reconnoitering with that flying broom of yours ?". He looks at Lia questioningly.
"And as for safety during the night, doesn't our house hobbit have a foldable hut of something of the sort ? It may not fit in all of us, but maybe a good idea to get a few inside… ?". He shrugs. "Just bouncing a few ideas about, here, don't mind me rambling on."
He looks at Oswald: "This may be a good time to build up some kind of noise trap, jangly bells or other things like that, to warn from incoming creatures. You still have a bunch of clattery things in that bag of yours, do you not, Oz ? Also, we could raise up a few barricades with sharpened sticks for the dumb zombie hordes… Darn, at this rate we won't even have enough time to sleep !".
The rogue adjusts his leather gloves on and brushes a fallen piece of moss from his right shoulder before adding: " I'll take the dawn watch with someone else, if that helps… Probably won't sleep a wink in this rotten place anyways."

Lia smiles at Jack. " Those are all great ideas. Our chef's hut would help a lot along with the warning devices. We might make it all right after all. " She laughs and takes her broom off of her back. " I've been hesitant to use it here during the daytime to be seen from afar. It is dark enough now that it shouldn't be an issue. Be safe all, I will return soon. " She flys upward on her broom. Lia will scout the area in front of them for a suitable stopping point for the night. "
As she keeps her senses focused on anything out of place or odd sights and sounds, Zarra will offer the consideration, "When we do find a place to put up camp, we could have those who stay up for watch get traps and other defenses in place while others sleep."
The consideration was more for efficiency's sake, allowing those who wish to sleep to do so and those keeping watch to stay busy, though there was the thought that doing so could keep some of the party awake. It may even distract those keeping watch from focusing on any threats, but it was an idea.
Poppo hops out of his skiff and says, " I can make us another hut like I did back in the dungeon. We have a few less people now so we all could sleep in there. The watch person can stay out and rush in if they need help or shelter. Nothing else will go through it."
Poljen will also take a watch at night, especially given his new vision. As Lia takes to the sky on her broom he curses himself for being too slow with his idea. "Give me a few minutes, and Trammet will scout for us, with me using his eyes."
Out of Character: : Finally we will try using this ritual. I will have Trammet fly around looking for trouble, and maybe a relatively defensible location.
