"Yes I hope you can help me swim, my friend. I will drown in this heavy armor otherwise. I put my trust in you."

Velon returns to the group and encourages them to get ready and move to join up with Snapjaw's warriors. "He is ready to help on all we discussed, although he encourages us to take the gate after dealing with the golem to let them in. He prefers that as the signal to attack. It will be a tough task to eliminate the stone man, find the prisoners and get them out, and then take the gate all on our own before Snapjaw can help. I say we get moving and let Jack and our scouts get eyes on the stone man before it spots us and make decisions from there. We all know the priorities, and I'm sure we'll have to think on our feet despite the best of plans." He looks to Lia for approval of his words and otherwise is ready for action.

Out of Character: : Poppo got a 19 on his arcana check. What does he know about stone golems?
In Character: : Poppo raises his hand and says, "If we need a scout that probably wouldn't raise too much question, Goliath could go in. I can see through his eyes and hear what he hears for about a 100 feet. Might be useful to get a recon of the area before we risk any of the big folks."
"Who you calling 'Big Folks'?" Velon asks, laughing. "Goliath, brilliant. The name I mean, but the plan too. One of the lizard folk can bring him near to the golem. Not sure on the distance though. You may have to go underwater to stay close. (?)"
Out of Character: Every time I use the link to get back in I ready "Fay is not a happy camper right now… " from 10 pages ago or so. In my mind Fay has perpetually been an unhappy camper for days! Since I'm newer to the site, is this something we should log some sort of tech report for?
Lia nods at the information that Velon shares. " Lets get started. I want to be long gone before the rulers of this keep return. So we scout ahead and make a decision later on how to handle the golem. Lead on when Snapjaw is ready. Everyone be ready for some heavy combat. " Lia hefts her shield in her left arm and her wand in the right. She smiles encouragingly at the group. The cleric prays quietly to Sune for her blessing and protection on the final part of their mission.

Zarra nods, before saying, "When you are all ready to get started." She will follow the plan and go with them, using all her stealth, magic, and skill with her daggers to help. She will also take off her goggles once inside before requesting, "If I may, be careful in using or give me a warning if any decide to use anything that creates a bright light."
Out of Character: : I will be making a bunch of rolls for different things, so use whatever may come up while I am at work. Largely since there is the possibility a battle may break out while I am unavailable.
Out of Character: Fay is an unhappy camper…
Fay simply nods and agrees to the plan. "Let us get this thing done."
Turning to Snapjaw he says, "Thank ye for yer help and may you get all of your kin out safely. Together we shall make these men pay for what they have done to ye."
Snapjaw urges everyone to stay low and wait for near nightfall, as it will be difficult enough to sneak everyone close to the walls in darkness as it stands.
When the time comes, the lizardfolk quietly escort you around to near the northern wall of the keep. They have a pair of long knotted ropes with them. It takes a little time for him to explain what he intends, but he gets the point across eventually. Teams of lizardfolk will swim while holding both ends of the rope. If you hold onto the knots, you will be towed through quite rapidly in a chain. The tunnel is fairly long, utterly black, and entirely filled with water. A strong swimmer by your standards has a good chance of making it through if they can see in the dark, but your new reptilian ally does not see much reason to make you risk that.
He goes on to offer to tie on anyone concerned about maintaining their grip to the rope.
