Moving on past the now dead eel catchers, the scouts peek around the corner at the far end of the room. Ahead is a set of stairs heading up to the ground floor of the castle, to the left is another passage.

After relaying the mission plan to Lia, Oswald sits back and admires his friend's actions. A single strike and problem solved. Zara also surprised him with her quick and fatal action.

"As a scout team, its starting to really shape up." He thinks to himself with a smile.

It wasn't really all that surprising to the drow, her decisive kills, given the sort of employ she placed herself in. Some have even told her it must be in the blood, but she tries to ignore such comments.

Looking to Oswald she asks while pulling down the cloth covering her face, "So shall we continue or shall we wait for the fair one's permission." The drow's description of Lia was appropriate, yet with a hint of snark as the other possibly see the smallest hint of a smile on Zarra's otherwise serious demeanor.

Jack sends a quick signal for Oswald to keep guard a little ways up the stairs with Fay, as he approaches the left-side passage with Zarra.

"Eyes and ears on all directions. 5 silvers say the infants are west from here! Anyone wanna hold that bet ?", the rogue whispers. He eyes Oz before adding in Thieves Cant: "Bets are off with you, Shades, you had your fun already… ".

As they get close to the western tunnel entrance, he signals Zarra to be ready. Slowly, the two begin to creep forward, signaling the rest of the group to stay back while Oz and Fay stand guard to make sure no-one makes their way down the staircase.

Out of Character: trying to pick up incoming noise, lights, or anything out of the ordinary. Also keeping senses peeled for traps and alarms.

Oswald smiles inwardly; knowing it is just a matter of time before Jharen offers another bet to him. After receiving the orders he and Fay head to there guard position.

He keeps a steady watch out. After a few minutes he says; "Hey, so… how you doing?"

Lia thanks Oswald for the update. Mari gets closer to Lia and speaks quietly." Lia, are you sure that you can trust Jack? You were worried about them even coming with us a few days ago."

Lia smiles st Mari." Of course. I am a good judge of character and I'm confident that Jack is a business man first. He might not even care about this mission but he cares about looking bad. Failures on missions hurt his future income. He will bear a fair amount of blame if anything goes wrong. He is after all the head of scouts. By giving him that spot it encourages him to do better because the whole team represents him now. His name is tied to this endeavor more so now. Also, he is very skilled. I think he is the perfect one for this job."

Lia twists a lock of her hair." He seems a little smitten with me as well. I'm sure that he won't let me down." She winks at Mari. The half elf looks at her somewhat surprised.

Zarra will follow, watching and two and considering their bet with each other but doesn't comment. It is not her place to speak involving such and the drow also wishes to say quiet.

Out of Character: So somehow he manages to have a +10 for his stealth, and then rolls a one. Not sure if that would still count as a failure. Wait, messed up my roll for stealth. It was supposed to have a +6 not +3, unless there are other considerations which would make it higher.
