Zarra will stay silent, not saying a word, as her gaze falls upon Oswald as she gathers with the others once they are all down the rope. The drow will wonder how close to death she might come.
Jack is still gray in the face and slightly shaking as he makes his way amongst the cadavers: flesh and clothes eaten-off by Rezmir´s acid cloud, the bodies lay scattered around the yard and the rogue stops suddenly as he spots the shriveled and melted remains wrapped with tattered rags stamped with the sign of Lathander.
Jharen Korvac slowly kneels next to the frail, dried-up body of what used to be his friend and comrade, gingerly reaching out to a waxy blob of leather and glass that lost almost all semblance of its former shape: Oswald Deepshadow´s accursed Night Goggles.
The Amber Coat wipes a brow suddenly covered in cold sweat, his hand clammy with grime and rests of molten flesh, his mischievous grin suddenly turned into an old man´s rictus. His eyes are feral and cold as marble beads when he turns to the others.
"This ends now… ". The wiry, exhausted-looking man looks like a very different version of the joking, easy-going fellow the Blaze has learned to know over the time they traveled together. Jack has now the gaunt, haunted look of the famished, the desperate, as he makes his way towards the hole Rezmir disappeared into with the slow, measured yet unrelenting pace of an undertaker.
Without a word or a look at any of his friends, he gets hold of the rope and drops into the darkness below with a snake-like motion, his daggers´scabbards gleaming ominously in the fading light.
Out of Character:
Investigation check to identify which direction Rezmir took, then running after her at full speed, using his dash action (Not sure if that allows him to use Stealth, but Jack is not exactly conscious of the risks or overly concerned about them at this point…).
There are lots of clawmarks all through this area. Hardly a surprise given the number of lizardfolk that have recently gone tramping through.
You do find some larger and deeper than the others by the southwest passage.
Out of Character: has everyone come along or is it only the vanguard?

Though such words may come to a surprise to others, Zarra will say, "The room with the dias may be a fair consideration, though I actually feel we shouldn't split up, we can't afford to be divided if we come upon the one we seek." The drow will just have to trust in her goddess that they will take the right path.

Velon nods at Fay and Zarra, thinking they are both correct. He is glad to have so many comrades still with him, although does not take a full head count as they must pursue in earnest. He takes his first step in that direction as Jack slithers down the rope and takes off at a dash! The paladin is a bit surprised but does not call out for the man to wait up or anything of the sort. He does pick up his pace however, and hurries off in the southwest direction.
Poppo rushes down the ladder to join the others, smiling at the reunion after such a battle. He smile quickly fades as he sees Jack keeping over the corpse of Oswald. Poppo lowered his eyes and said a quiet, "I'm sorry Jack." He remained quiet as the group lowered down into the pit. At the question of splitting up he finally spoke up, "My magic is just about used up without a rest so I think we should stay together."
