Velon assesses the situation, still watchful for the mask. He carefully moves around the circle Poppo warned of as Poljen did. Magic begins to swirl around him once again as he conjures up a Haste spell, casting it on both Poljen and himself. He then steps into the fray against the impressive familiar, looking for a good moment to strike opposite Poljen. There is no fire this time, but instead a flash of radiant light upon a hit.

Out of Character: . Twinned Haste, then the extra attack from it if that is allowed here. Level 1 smite on a hit. AC up to 25. Extra attack and AC or other options to Poljen, too.

Lawrance rushes over to get a sight on the half breed, yet keep a goodly distance, and sends his remaining minions into attack and distract her! With a quick assessment of the room, and a grimace at the fallen friend, he sends an array of magic bolts that weave their way through the fracas and impact into her body!

Out of Character: : I will interpose my arcane ward to absorb actual damage done by are in melee. Only 17 points but still.

With a growl of frustration, Zarra re-aim her bow to hopefully have a better hit. The drow feeling her blood pump with adrenaline and even a spark of fear, but was not backing done from this fight.

The drow could leave, she could hide and wait for the castle to land, yet if she did that Zarra would never be able to prove that she was not like her kin. That, and she will not let the twisted spawn of a black dragon win so easily.

Tazskan and Amabalis roll initiative.
If succeed then:
Tazskan attacks the creature denoted as impressive familiar.
Using Eldritch blast. His action is simply, fire Eldritch blast, then duck to prone position facing impressive familiar.

Amabalis, meanwhile acts as Tazskan surveillance on incoming ranged attacks. Even looking for an image. He is hiding behind Tazskan from plain view.

Poljen strikes hard at the shadow drake, scoring two good hits. Velon casts a spell on both himself and Poljen before striking at the drake himself. Both men feel as if everything else is slowing down just a little, and the familiar looks like it is on its last legs

Poppo reaches out to the box and yanks it open to reveal a frightened, but otherwise unharmed Goliath. The halfling then turns to Rezmir, and unleashes a spell of his own. Lightning blasts out, zapping the half dragon witch in the back just before magical bolts from his fellow wizard streak in to impact her chest.

Lawrance's band of Mephits enter the room and begin flying towards Rezmir. Snarling, she draws herself up and conjures a dark green orb that she hurls towards the center of the room. Most of the mephits die immediately as the orb detonates, unleashing a waves of deadly acid that washes out to fill every corner of the room. Poppo's familiar ducks back into the box which seems to resist the acid. Rezmir's familiar Mortis has no such cover, and proceeds to jerk and shriek as its wounded body starts dissolving, it bursts into shadowy filaments that rapidly disperse. Rezmir follows this up by charging at Velon, her first hit skipping off of the Paladin's armor, but the second biting in.

Lara heals Cratol. His body seems to be in better condition than before, and he's definitely alive, but the spell doesn't seem too have helped as much as it should.

Zarra fires her bow, and hits, causing a notable wound in this troubling foe. Tazskan arrives on the scene and launches bolts of his own, two beams of dark energy that punch into Rezmir's torso.

Out of Character: Everyone except Tazskan takes 28 acid damage, DC 16 Dexterity to half the amount (Zarra takes 14 or none). Velon takes an additional 16 slashing damage, and 8 necrotic. He also cannot receive magical healing for one minute.
