Out of Character: . Ideally these longer conversations about what to do would happen in a safe room, but to keep things moving I will continue to engage in them. Hopefully this does not increase risk to the party as if we are wandering the halls chatting away. Perhaps Daishain would be willing to let us say they take place once we have found a safe place, hopefully in just a moment. I suppose this particular one could happen quickly between Zarra and Velon as they prepare to leave Rezmir's room.
"Well done Zarra. Well done indeed. In that case, I suggest you have an important choice to make. If you are the one to carry the mask, you must stay close to the main group including myself, Poppo, Lawrance, and anyone else at our core. The mask and the scroll must stay together. You would not be able to scout, stealth away, or anything of the sort. You may have to fight at range and only engage the enemy otherwise if they come close. If this is not to your liking as you no doubt have other skills, I suggest you choose another to carry our prize. Please consider what I have said."
Velon resists the urge to discuss the other factors in any decision to carry on until they find a safe place. Hopefully they can find a way to speak freely without the enemy hearing.
Lawrance spends some time ina corner of Reznik's room, covertly inscribing a detailed rune by carefully using the acid that is still potent. The rune is an intricate design, but small and relatively innoculous in the very corner of the room. He then shifts one of the room's intact objects over top of it, hiding it from casual searches. Doing one last overview of the dead half-drake's room, Lawrance follows the rest of the group out into the hall "I think I'd love to spend a few days combing this place over for all the secrets it holds, but if you have to follow through on your mission, I completely understand. Maybe there is some way we can find out the route of this place and be at a stop when we are better equipped to lay siege to it? After all, the thought of taking on a full dragon, at any point, is a bit intimidating, much less with an army behind him!"
"As a side note, while we discuss the options, let's stay in the big brute's room. We'll put up the Hut as I recommended, and then we can teleport out or stay as we decide. Either way, we can block the door fairly firmly."
Specific Action: Inscribing a unique rune for possible future teleport target. Investigation for secret stuff. Getting help from familiar in the checking.
Whoever that man was, it seems likely he had been in charge of this place. Loraires and Cratol have stepped into what was once the chambers of a King. The first room is an antechamber, furnished suitably for private meetings. It still has three chairs too large for any of you to use. There is little of interest here though aside from valuable artwork and the like.
The bedroom beyond is massive, and lavishly decorated. The bed itself is far larger than normal, but someone hacked off the legs so it would sit on the ground. The most recent inhabitant of this place seems to have added his own touches to it, various animal trophies, hides, and other symbols of strength.
On the wall is a large portrait of a Cloud Giant family, dressed in noble attire. A man, woman, and a young boy. The portrait is utterly ruined however, with multiple slices in it. A throwing axe is still embedded in it.
There is a blanket, at first glance it was apparently casually thrown off the bed, but to attentive eyes, faint movement can be seen beneath it.

Lora studies the rooms curiously. As they get to the huge bed she thinks this might be of use to them. Peering around the room intently she notices the blanket with movement under it. She points to it and mouths "be ready" to Cratol. Lora moves quickly to the blanket, lifts it up and steps back just in case.
Lora hears faint sobbing as she approaches the bed, stifled as she comes near.
There is a whimper as she lifts the blanket to reveal two humanoids. Two identical women are clinging tightly to each other as they stare up at you in stark terror. They're mostly human in appearance, if with unusually white skin, but the eyes bear neither pupil nor iris, they're simply pools of deep blue.
Neither of them are clothed, both bear light bruising in various places, one seems to have been whipped recently, and the other wears a manacle on her ankle, it attaches her to the bed by a long chain.
Velon moves slowly down the hall, following Cratol and Lora at a distance. He watches to ensure the group stays close. All the while he can't resist putting a hand on his stomach, thinking of Rezmir's blade cutting through him. The blade, where was it? He'll have to remember to ask once they are in a safer spot.
Out of Character: . Since Daishain mentioned Rezmir's room being hazardous twice or so and mentioned rooms nearby with beds, it's probably best to follow the not-so-subtle suggestion on the Dungeon Master.
