Cratol blushes, "Sorry was trying to make it look like a planned meeting and not draw too much attention to us. I figured if it looked like we were hugging it would make people less likely to watch us. Hope that was ok." Cratol lowers his head and blushes some more. He has no idea what to say now and follows her over to the object. He has never seen something like it before so he is not wanting to touch it. He will let her do the work as she seems to know what she is doing.
After hopping over the fence, Sar'ai manages to figure out that the strange item is indeed a firework, and easily enough cuts the fuse off at the base.
There's a door in front of the two of you, logic suggests your suspect went through there.

Sar'ai eyes the door and then looks back at Cratol, putting a finger to her lips to indicate being quiet. Telepathically she tells Elanna to fly around to the front of the building and keep an eye out for anyone that might be leaving this building from another entryway.
Then the rogue eases up to the door and puts her ear against it to try to hear anything on the other side.
Sar'ai is standing at the back entrance of what appears to be a place of business of some kind. There's a bit of old rubbish out here, including a lot of scraps of cloth and string, so a reasonable guess is that it might be owned by a tailor. Elanna reports that there is a big shop window out front, but that it has been boarded over. At least at first inspection, there doesn't seem to be any way to observe what is going on within.
Elanna doesn't spot anyone leaving the building from the front door. Sar'ai can hear faint scraping noises along with the sound of two men arguing. She can't quite make out what is being said.

With Elanna's information about the boarded up window, Sar'ai's suspicion grows. The half-drow slowly checks to see if the door is locked. If not, she gives Cratol a look which conveys "Ready yourself" as she pulls out her hand-cross bow.
(If it is locked, rolling to pick it.)
Out of Character: Sar'ai has not really given much information to Cratol about why she's doing any of this, so if he has any objections to what's happening he could make them known before Sar'ai is about to (Possibly) cause some mischief.
