Thread Main RPG Dragons and Dungeons e Daishains

With a great deal of effort, the group slowly shifts the door inward. They find themselves in a large chamber.

As the door opens, an enchantment activates, and a silvery light spreads from crystals embedded in the ceiling, gently illuminating the space.

Directly before you are two life sized effigies, a pair of cloud giants clasping hands, lying on the ground as if asleep. Each wears a crown and royal attire. From the looks of it, the depicted pair are buried in a tomb beneath their image. At their feet is a stone plinth, it looks like there was once a placque here, probably depicting the names of the dead, but it has been pried out.

To both left and right are more such effigies. Without names to go by, it is difficult to be certain, but it looks like this place is reserved for the royal line of castle skyreach and their immediate kin. Married couples are typically buried together, their hands clasped in a bond. The last effigy on the left bears a familiar face. It is the tomb of the Queen in the Pilot room. Her image's hand is stretched out for that of the partner who will not be joining her.

You do not see signs of any coffin in this place.

Lora grimaces in frustration." Well… this is perfect. If we don't find her coffin she can be rejuvenated and pick us off one at a time if we stay here." She stalks around the crypt." This is too obvious. All of those identical wooden doors and then here is this huge stone door. How much does she trust the others? If I was an ancient vampire I wouldn't wish for anyone to know where my resting place was located." She begins walking out of the crypt." I'll go check all of those doors. If anyone else has a better idea then please speak up." If no one else has an alternative plan then she will begin listening at each wooden door and opening them one at time.

Velon is perplexed by the missing coffin. He begins to search the crypt for it, for signs that the individual crypts have been opened, etc. He will also activate his Divine Sense.

Velon's senses do not pick up anything at first. But then he feels something as he moves along the row to the right.

Two undead, one with a much stronger aura than the other, can be felt residing within a particular tomb several dozen paces down the row.

Velon goes back and gets Poljen, signaling the others if he can. He tries to stay quiet and whispers “I fear there are TWO. One much stronger than the other. She may have a mate.” He points to the spot for the others to see. “Perhaps we can get the coffins into the sun, tying them shut first. If we wake Him however, we will all perish here with only half of our team and little magic.” He looks at the others with a great deal of concern.
