Out of Character: : This is assuming we are over an hour since the vamp got dropped.

Poljen says, "We have no choice. We must find out if it is in there. If it is still resting, maybe we can drag the coffin. But we must open the big stone lid first." He steps forward and jams the blade of the axe into the seam between the lid and the base of the sarcophagus. He then begins prying it open. He is quickly breathing heavily so he says, "Once more, everyone!" He makes sure there is room for Velon to add his strength to the axe, and others to help in any way they can.

Having decided to stay and watch their investigation, Lora listens intently. She whispers to Velon." It might be a weaker one as well. We don't know." She gestures to their stakes." We have stakes. All we have to do is open the lid and stake anything that is in there. It will hold them while we work on getting the coffins transported up top. They are trapped in there. It won't get any easier than this. The alternative is to concede defeat and prepare to leave this castle. We have come much too far to quit now." She awaits their response.

Seeing Poljen bolt into action she moves to help. She adds her meager strength to the others to assist in shifting the lid. Lora calls upon Mask to aid Poljen in moving the lid.

Velon nods at the words from Poljen and Lora. He ensures his stake is ready at hand, then helps move the stone lid off of the crypt, expecting to see two coffins below. He hopes another vampire doesn’t spring out at them.

The group heaves at the effigy, slowly inching the stone upwards. You manage to crack it open a few inches, and are about to shift position to work at it from another angle when it starts moving upwards without your help.

A pair of huge skeletal hands are pushing up on the lid from within, and shifting it to the side. A giant's skeleton starts to sit up from the space beneath, holding a big warhammer.

Carefully tucked inside the ribcage of this thing is an iron coffin, locked in place with chains.

Velon realized what is happening and jumps back, dropping the stake. He draws his sword and readies for battle once more, moving in for the attack with thunderous force.

Out of Character: Booming blade attack. Just updated the healing. Thanks again for that!

Poljen grins as the giant skeleton rises. "This one is just for us!" he shouts as he begins to hack into it with the great axe. "Though I wish I had that maul, right about now… "

Lora shakes her head as she sees the giant Skeleton rise and Poljen enthusiastically hacking at it." I swear that this is barbarian heaven. Muscles would be in paradise if every day was like this." She gestures towards the skeleton and fire descends upon his skull.
