Relating every word of the whispered conversation, verbatim, Lawrance offers :“This sounds like a setup, but I may just be overly paranoid. I’d suspect a spy, but she’d be too obvious, unless that’s the trick. Do we arrange this meeting she wants so desperatly?”
Paying particular attention to possibly Charm and other spells being cast, Lawrance keeps observing.
Specific Action: if needed, Lawrance will change position to keep lips in sight.

"Of course Tazskan, let's go." Velon will follow Taz and Lia's lead in finding such a trainer. He'll casually chat with Taz about where he is from and ask if he has any questions about the history of the Blaze over the past year, especially Fay, Lia and Mari.

He will listen intently to all instructions given by such a trainer, but will let Taz spend the great majority of time doing the actual practicing. Velon will stand back and watch everyone's backs for trouble, given the recent news. He keeps one eye on Lia for this and… other… reasons.

LIa watches Taz and Velon practice with the trainer. She shakes her head and laughs. "Boys and a new toy It doesn't matter whether they are dragonborn or human." Lia laughs upon saying this. She will try to get to know Taz better during this process. Lia will ask him questions about his life before joining up with the Blaze.

"I'm such a fortunate woman to be protected by not one but two upstanding paladins." Lia says this after catching Velon looking at her.

The Quiet Shadow says...

Zarra will follow the others going into the tavern, still keeping quiet as she is still somewhat unsure how to act around some. That, and being in a major city that always made her feel a little nervous at times. The drow was curious to see that there was someone looking for the Silver Blaze, and will observe the newcomer with interest.

Velon watches Taz's improvement with the ballista as he trains.

"Who are you calling upstanding? As if you need protection. I could be running through the streets of this Citadel on fire waving my war hammer and still more men in this city would find you to be the intimidating one, enchantress of Sune!"

"Give it hell, Tazskan!" Velon cheers. "Fighting off a few massive dragons at once shouldn't be too different than this, eh?"

The Protector. says...

Tazskan, Velon and Lia were taken to a firing range. Lia, watched on from the sidelines. Velon, was content to watch, until this burley looking drill sargeant, started yelling at him.
"Hey, you there look lively your the loader for this round," he barked.

As the ballista required two people, to operate it. Both Velon, and Tazskan took turns, one being the firer, the other the loader.

Tazskan, was the firer this round. He found it relatively easy to draw back the winch. He turnned a large four spoke crank, pulling it back tight.

"Load, it up," yelled the drill sargeant.
Velon, carefully dropped in the bolt into position.
When Velon, was happy with the ballista's aim, he yelled back at Tazskan.

"Fire away," to which Tazskan released the bolt.
Sending, the bolt high into the air, on the practice range.

Velon, and Tazskan could hear some chuckles of nearby, soldiers with their ballista.
"You, two are to slow, my mother could do better," one yells.

"If I had wings, and a tail, I'd be a dragon," Tazskan yells back, with a huge grin revealing his canines.

He hears, Lia making a coment about boys and the new toys, and frowns at her in annoyance.

The drill sargeant catches Velon, who keeps looking at Lia, and talking to her.
"Hey, paladin keep focused on the task at hand. This is no picnic, here," he yells irritated.
Tazskan, tries to hide a smile, but instead is discovered.
"Dragornborn, do you find something amusing, care to share,"? Yells the sargeant.

Out of Character: Taz has taken the ballista training and conversations to the side stories, so going to move on here.

Velon and his friends leave the training grounds in good spirits. "Well done, Taz, great improvement already. I think the soldiers liked you more though, Lia." He chuckles.

Velon makes his way to the Right of Inebriation and enters. He first sees Lawrance sitting without Nikolaos, Poljen, etc. He goes to the bar to grab an ale and makes his way over to the wizard. "What news, Lawrance? Where are the others?"

Out of Character: Not sure how you all want to handle the timing of the arrival of Velon and the others versus the current scene of Perry, Nikolaos and Poljen having perhaps an awkward conversation. I thus kept Velon's entrance vague, having him first spot the Blaze member least involved in the conversation with Perry.

LIa smiles at Velon. "That is my mission here for Sune. To spread her beauty and help love blossom."

She follows Velon and Taz into the Rite of Inebriation curiously. Caution is foremost in her mind now as she remembers what they learned from Mari. She will scan the crowd to see if there is anything to worry about or a little unusual. Lia glances back at Mari to see her facial expression. Looking back she sees Velon heading toward Lawrance. She decides to join them. Taking a seat by them she smiles at Lawrance. "Hello Lawrance. I trust that you had success here today. "

Mari looks for any people that don't belong in the tavern. Not noticing anything at first she trails after the others.
