Out of Character: . Taking the liberty of 2+ combat turns to progress things, unless one of you wants to interrupt, and this is dependent on my grapple check and whether Perry wishes to resist or not.

Velon regains his sanity as the charm effect fades. He begins walking forward towards Lia and Perry looking around and muttering "What hap…? Where's Pol…? Release…? Won…? "Eventually he collects himself and begins to understand what may have happened after hearing Lia's words. He uses the message spell to silently speak to her saying "Well done, but one moment please. You look nice, by the way." He grins and a split second later a fireball detonates just past Perry such that Lia is not hit. The fiery explosion expands rapidly and just the very edge clips the tiefling, engulfing him in flame. Velon charges as it goes off and uses misty step to get behind Perry. He wraps his large armor clad arms around the Tiefling from behind and says in a low voice "I'm not sure you defeated us as I have not but a scratch, but you delivered on having many tricks and still stand after a blow from Poljen. Well done." At that he releases his grip and gives their new friend a heavy pat on the back for a job well done. "I don't expect Poljen to be too pleased, however. You may have hurt his pride, or his sense of a fair fight." He puts his gauntleted hand out offering to shake hands with Perry. "I am done here, but I can't promise he will be. Where… what… exactly did you do with him?"

Perry watches as Velon comes back to his senses and can't help but snicker a little at his initial confusion. That is, until he sees a small, shining red bead pass right behind him. "Oh shi-" is all Perry can get out before the bead erupts in an enormous ball of flame! Perry attempts to roll away and avoid the scorching flame.
Suddenly, Perry yells out a dramatic, blood-curdling scream, "AH! Not fire, not fire! It burns!"
Perry doesn't resist as Velon grabs him then pats him on the back heartily, "Ow, ow, ow, careful, still a bit tender there," Perry complains.
Then, all of a sudden, Perry begins laughing, "Did I get ya? So I'm in now right?" Perry has a huge grin on his face.
When Velon brings up Poljen, Perry responds, "Your girlfriend here banished him to her private demiplane, (Laugh). If he's still not satisfied, I will try to satisfy him one-on-one. I would feel awful creating a lovers quarrel."
Out of Character: Rolling the Fireball damage for you Cinder. Tiefling's Hellish Resistance makes them resistant to fire. Perry uses that to try and make Velon feel bad for a second.
Lia smiles as Velon is restored to himself. As she hears his message she relaxes until the surprise fireball passes by her. She is dismayed to see Perry injured. Her jaw drops as the burly paladin siezes the tiefling.
Once again she relaxes as Velon declares that he is out." You are a great sport Velon. I fear that Poljen might not take this the same way." She walks to Perry and places her hand on his shoulder. Healing energy surges into him." Great job Perry. I'm releasing Poljen now. Be prepared for him to attack us. He will probably target me since I banished him." She faces towards where Poljen will reappear. With a wave of her hand the spell ends. Poljen finds himself suddenly back exactly where he was before.
As Lia prepares to bring Poljen back Velon turns in the direction she is facing, wondering exactly what he is about to see and where Poljen will appear. He puts his hand on Perry's should and delivers healing as well via Lay on Hands while saying "I hope you're read for this." "You don't have to fight him, but he may question your honor if you do not. He entered a duel and has yet to be knocked down. Such things are important to ones such as him, understandably."
Out of Character: . Seath can take as much of Velon's 15HP pool as required.
"Thank you both," Perry says as his wounds heal up completely.
"Lia, you don't have to interfere. If he still wants to fight, I can handle it… just, um, be ready to bring me back up please," Perry laughs worriedly.
Perry readies himself with a shield and his trusty silver harmonica along with a rapier to his side. He then begins to move away from where Poljen was banished in preparation for his reaction.
Out of Character: Cinder I'm taking 8 of those health points, thanks. Also just as a side note, my mental image right now is the side stories somehow going on during this skirmish and it's pretty amazing. I'm also going to do my best updating the map to where we are realistically after talking with Velon and Perry moving back, etc.
Poljen keeps walking, slinging his axe over his back. He glances back once more to see the beaver's tail vanishing into the long grass. He takes a few more steps and suddenly finds himself back in the spot where he had been when Lia had cast the spell. He pauses, glances about and sees everyone staring at him. He fixes his eyes upon Velon and Lia and shakes his head.
He saunters up to Perry, Lia and Velon and addresses the cleric. "Winning wasn't the point. The point of this was to test the mettle and ability of Percheron… Paragon… Para… Perry here. He created pretty lights which apparently confused Velon. He said he was good at helping, so since Velon would not attack you, I did. I wanted to see what he would do. He has proven nothing. To me at any rate." He glances at Perry. "The magic that stopped one of my blows was nice, but aside from that, I remain unimpressed." He shrugs. "But I am only one vote." He begins to walk off, back towards town and says to the Silver Blaze. "It's up to you all."
Out of Character: : Most of the Blaze know that Poljen is quick to forgive and forget. Perry shouldn't worry. At best he might give Perry the occasional hard time. But once he's seen him in a real fight this will all be forgotten.
Perry trots happily up to Velon and Lia, "I think he likes me," Perry says in a sly voice.
"So, what happens now? Do I get a badge or a notary of some sort? Oh! Perhaps a feast of celebration?" Perry's eyes suddenly widen with glee from the various possibilities.
"Yes, Velon what are we doing now, follow Poljen back into town, or head into the castle,"? Tazskan chimes in.
"So, you are done with testing the Tiefling here,"? He adds.
Out of Character: Tazskan will Head off where the majority go, in this case.
