Poppo waits to see who wants to travel by feather fall and when all are ready he gets them to join him on the edge of the castle walls and holding hands, they jump. When the distance is right, Poppo finishes the spell that allows himself and those others to float safely to the ground. "THAT WAS FUN!" he says, his face flushed with excitement. "Now, we keep an eye out for evil snake thingies and snake people. I hope we get directions and catch up with this dwarf quick. I don't want to be a snack for some snake!"
Lia nods at Taz as he thanks her." You are welcome Taz. Glad that you enjoyed it apparently."
She readies her bow and nocks an arrow. Lia will follow at the rear of the main group. The cleric will be paying full attention to their surroundings.
Mari has her short bow out. She walks along quietly with the others. Mari will stay towards the rear close by Lia. She hopes that today will be her day of redemption. Her short sword of warning is at her waist to help prevent any surprises.
As the group makes its way along, Poppo drops back to where Mari is walking. He looks up at her and gives her a smile, "Don't worry about it. Everybody makes mistakes. It's what you do after you make them that really matters." He gives her a quick pat on the back before returning to his position in the marching order.
Those in the town get regaled about a tale concerning a wish granting owlbear that roams these parts, but get the distinct impression the information is less than reliable.
A few more relevant details come up. Apparently Varram's people picked up enough supplies for a month's long journey, but were closed mouthed about their purpose. You do get a better description of the dwarf and his companions, but not much of immediate use.
The rest of the group wait outside of town along the path towards the serpent hills. They notice tracks left in the soft earth, a lot of boot prints accompanying two small mule drawn carts.
After updating his friends on any and all conversations he has caught, Lawrence says “I think we’re done here. Let’s meet up with the rest and track this dwarf down. A month supplies means at least two weeks travel range, unless they can resupply. “.
“But Lucas, a wish granting owlbear! I love owlbears, they’re so fluffy and cute!” Penelope exclaims with a huge glimmer in her large brown eyes. “I think we should spend at least the next 12 hours chasing after it!”
“Just kidding,” Penelope says in a teasing voice. “I agree, let’s report back to the others now. We should take a roundabout way out of town and meet up with Zarra outside,” Penelope whispers.
Penelope goes along with Lawrance and Nikolaos to meet up with Zarra, being careful and taking the least suspicious path out of town.

People meet up with Zarra easily enough, and information is exchanged.
For her part, the drow keeps an eye out for anyone trying to follow the bards, but does not see signs of such.
Cratol finds a high point and looks east. Unfortunately he does not discern anything of interest.
