Cratol squirms into the tunnel, and climbs down the ladder. The confines in here are not comfortable, but the lithe monk manages well enough.

At the bottom he opens the panel to find himself looking out into another hallway. Doors can be seen to the east and west.

The Quiet Shadow says...

The drow will follow after Cratol, unless she is stopped, after saying, "Better not let him go off alone." Zarra will still keep an eye out for danger or anything her keen sight might notice while staying in the shadows where best she can and quiet in her movements.

Specific Action: Follow Cratol if not stopped, while rolling for Perception and Stealth. Also keep an eye out on traps and be prepared to disable them.

Zarra Glannath Results:
  • Stealth on D20 (+9): 17 (1 roll)
  • Perception on D20 (+4): 6 (1 roll)
  • Sleight of Hand on D20 (+2): 10, 14 (2 rolls)

Daishain's 5e D&D RPG Main Thread Archive Pathfinder / D&D

Velon hangs behind the group for the most part, pleased that those with varied talents and dark vision are taking charge on exploring this place without his involvement. He is intrigued by the alleged hidden tunnel and what advantage it may offer them. He does wonder if he, Poljen, or Taz could even fit inside this passageway.

For now Velon is content to try to guard the group as they work. He moves down the sloped hall a bit so those climbing through the tunnel cannot be attacked from behind. He keeps a watchful eye on this thus far unexplored area.

Out of Character: Guarding at the Q22 area or so. Rolling perception just for good measure on anything coming from that direction, whether it be a threat or just noise, voices, smells, etc.

Cratol will wait in the hallway after checking the two doors. He will listen at them. He will venture 30 feet down the hallways in both directions to see what else is around as he waits for others to arrive.

Daishain's 5e D&D RPG Main Thread

As Velon moves down the hall, something shifts beneath his feet. A panel in the ceiling at the top of the stairs slides away, releasing a huge pile of bones with a massive clatter.

The bones start moving, and within moments, have assembled themselves into a large roughly spherical shape that begins rolling down the hall towards those standing there.

Cratol hears noises behind both doors. A moaning sound of some kind behind the door to the west, and raised voices having a conversation behind the door to the east.

Out of Character: I'm going to need Dexterity and Strength saves from everyone in the sloped hall. Those in the tunnel or who remained in the mosaic room are safe.

Perry makes his way through the secret shaft and down the ladder. He waits for Zarra to make it through and watches to make sure the drow makes it down safely. Now beside Cratol, Perry whispers, "What did you hear, Cratol? Should we wait for the others before picking a way to go?" Perry asks Cratol and Zarra.

Out of Character: Oh no, seems like the others in the hallway are being caught in a trap. If I'm keeping track correctly. Cratol, Perry, and Zarra went down the secret passage. Velon, Taz, Lia, Mari, and Lawrance are in the trap hallway. Poljen and Niko should be safe in the Mosaic room.

Daishain, do the others not in the hallway hear the carnage about to ensue?

Cratol tells Perry and Zarra of the noises he hears. He will listen to see what the voices are talking about. See if it he can tell if it is possibly the group they are looking for.
